South at 247 says he feels "pretty good" about Texas' chances with Syracuse DL Maraad Watson based on what he's hearing.
Hamilton at OTF published another 50/50 article talking about the '26 guys he feels Texas has a "50/50 or better" chance with currently.

He is the only visitor without an offer right now.

OTF saying Miami is Texas' primary compe ion for Syracuse DL Maraad Watson.
The guy who posted about Watson is a national reporter for 247 who covers the Northeast.
He mentioned "there is a reason" why Texas is the only visit Watson has set up currently.
And Watson will only be a Sop re next year. January, Mills, Watson, Terry, Sharma, and Charles for next at a minimum if they can get Watson. Not too bad.

On CB offer Jalen Lott of Frisco Panther Creek...OTF mentioned he's scheduled to speak with Sark today, and it's expected that he'll be recruited as a WR first going forward.
It sounds like the staff doesn't want Oregon having an advantage simply because they're recruiting him at a different position.

It'd be nice to have two Freshman All-Americans flanked by five-star newcomers Jackson and Terry.
Throw in the experienced DT transfers plus Burke, and it could be a salty group.
Hopefully Vasek can get healthy.
