I'll defer to you guys who watch this sport far more than me on the legitimacy of the red. I was listening to the Mexico broadcast as well, and the color guy thought it was a bad call, while the play by play guy thought it was a stupid foul.

I agree it was stupid, but I just didn't think it was red worthy.

it was a nasty foul, def. a red-worthy, but criteria in this WC was a bit loose, there should be more red cards IMO.

Well by the book it was definately a red card. And too me as well. Now it's 10-10 and the second half will belong to Italy.
De Rossi is taht kind of guy who can foulout of the game, if Gatuso would be 100% he would be playing instead of de rossi. Well Totti was not playing well so good for Italy.

They were not agressive at all, they have more shots on goal and higher percentage of posession.

This game is pretty damn interesting, I think Italy is going to win though, even though I want USA to win.


The thing that concerns me with USA is that even though they have been good at getting into attacking distance, they don't know what to do from there. They get in great positions to score, and then don't know what to do.
