Very nice take
The dunk attemp was surprising. The behind the back split in the first half was 2005-like too.

The double team split out of the pick and roll at the end of the 3rd. When was the last time we saw that from Manu?
Terrific game from Manu tonight. His play at the end of the 1st and early in the 2nd were huge. Really held the fort down until Frenchie realized he should show up tbh.
16 and 11. Playing the entire 4th while the Kang couldn't keep up.![]()
What will go unnoticed was his stellar defense on Wade in the 2nd half and down the stretch. I think Wade only had one bucket in the 4th. I figured he'd take over with Lebron down and out.
Best finals performance in years.
If Manu plays like this all the games and we win, Manu will be the MVP of these finals.
At the end of the 1st:
Ginobili has scored or assisted on every Spurs basket since entering the game
/bump
it's looking like going this way so far
Ginobili is incredible
Best bump ever!
Bump for 5.![]()
Could Ditka have stopped Manu from playing in FIBA?![]()
Manu 28 pts(10-18), 3 rbds, 4 assts., 2 steals
Acc to game recaps "he resembled that high-flying, energetic star that played for Bologna in2001 under Messina"
Pop will still be out next game(SAC?), l hope Manu will deliver again.
btw, did someone say paces is a ty team.. Parker always go off against ty team anyway
Great Bump! Manu was awesome! He was everywere!
Wow, it's hard to believe we've just passed the 8-year anniversary of this thread. How time flies!
There was a long stretch of over 20 minutes where every good play by the Spurs, whether on offense or defense, had a Ginobilli component in it somewhere. There's no question that his physical skills aren't at the same level they were back in the day, but his indomitable will to win still burns within him.
The game was a flashback to the days when Manu could put the team on his back and will it to a win. So much fun to watch and to give him respect.
