What the mother ? You die in Aigis' lap at the end of Persona 3?
Aw this ending
Yeah I remember you mentioning it, I just hadn't found an opportunity to get a pass in... It really took me back, in a good way
I had to apply serious will power to log out, I'm gonna have to be careful or my wife will sabotage my PC

Just trying to plat GOW and get the best armour.
I enjoy GOW so much. The best combat out there. Better than bloodbrone.
ESO has taken over my life tbh
Solution to XCOM2 difficulty
Turn off auto-save and save in the middle of battle when a turn goes well. Lead with your assault and rangers and buy spider suits for your sharpshooters. 2 specialists is a must: one medic/one offensive. I've never seen so many 79-85% chances fail even on VATS in Fallout. I'm guessing they nerf the percentages by 20 points - that's the only explanation for so many misses.
Playing baseline bum's favorite. A Link to the Past.
Amazing game. The 3DS game Zelda: A Link Between Worlds inspired by A Link to the Past is also incredible, and is one of the handful of games on the system where the 3D effect really works.
Decided to check out Nioh since it's on sale. idk about this one. seems kinda like a lame souls imitation thus far
The game reminds me of Onimusha. Though much harder.
You play a link to the past but not the newer RPGs?
Action/RPG games today are practiclly link to the past in steroids.
I thought Nioh was good but not amazing like all the reviewers were saying. Have fun with Hino-Enma.
Just started playing Yakuza Kiwami. It starts so slow just like Yakuza 0 did. Also been playing GTA San Andreas and old Genesis games on my PS2. I love the Genesis collection on PS2 since I can play in 4:3 aspect ratio with ing black bars on the side instead of like on the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on PS3 that embeds the 4:3 picture in some ing cabinet looking graphic. Why does every old school collection have these borders?
The new Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection does the same bull
No they’re not.
They are are way more fleshed out and complex these days. Basically. You had a couple of weapons and straight up strategy before. Now you have what seems unlimited ways to execute.
Get yourself P5 to see what I’m talking about.
I think mid would be more into the Shin Megami Tensei series personally. The Persona games have more forgiving battle systems and much easier fights than mainline SMT, which are hardcore dungeon crawlers. Don't get me wrong, Persona 5 is my favorite turn based RPG since Fallout 2, but SMT IV for example is way more difficult and has much more interesting battles.
Only time I will ever go to turn based is if they somehow revive Suikoden the King and father of Story telling RPGs..otherwise its just too boring for me.
Crazy since I grew up with turn based battle systems. Even loved the tactics version of RPGS...way more tactical than any game today but i just cant enjoy them anymore.
A Link to the Past is a 10-15 hour game. I'm not going to sit around for 100 hours doing fetch quests and grinding XP.
Yeah, I prefer turn based over action, as long as the majority of the hours are spent in battle rather than on grinding and fetching. Though I dislike unavoidable battles. Pain in the ass when you're trying to get to the next area to trigger a plot point and you keeping having to fight low level enemies you killed 7000 times already.
That was one of my biggest problems with P5, the fights were pretty vanilla for a turn based game. You just basically had to identify the enemy's weakness and spam it. And the boss fights were more of the same except they had a lot of health. Occasionally there would be different stages to a boss fight with different resistances but not a lot of strategy involved - especially once you gain the ability to swap party members out mid fight.
That and the fact that the game lasted something like 125 hours for me. That's just too ing long, I start to lose interest after 80 hours or so. I had to take a break from video games after that one.
Dark Souls remastered, its ok.
But graphics are even in the remastered version, the original was an atari 2600 game come on Crysis was from 2007 and they came with that crap in 2011?
Also controls are pretty clunky you cant roll 8 directions while locking on an enemy, whatafuak is that?
Fortnite players, what’s going on with this game?
looks like the game is about to die...or will die? Some kind of scam?
it's nowhere close to dying it's still far and away the most popular game.
I've watched one of my sons playing Fortnite and it sounded like every kid in the game was prepubescent. That's probably all online games though.
That sounds like 90 percent of multiplayers.
Which is why I never bother with those. Exception made with Rocket League.
Damn Best Buy has Horizon Zero Dawn for $10 now.

I decided to give it a try, uninstalled 5 minutes later. Holy , that game blows.
