Any chance for Dragic or Smodis to play today?
No, Dragic is out for the tournament, and Smodis, well the team was saying they'll to get him ready for the finals... So probably not. And I think he won't play in finals either (or third place if we lose today).
Oh man it would be so great if we would win today. But even if we lose I'm really happy that we did what we did with this kind of team. Serbia will be tough and I think that they are better. Our big 3 needs to get some help today from other guys.
The Schedule of this tournament is just ridiculous. Greece and Slovenia have to play the SF in less than 24 hours after the end of the QF![]()
Yup. Nachbar was just saying yesterday that the schedule is brutal and that any player is lucky if he gets out of this tournament without any injuries.
Croatia has to play for 5th spot 15 hours after the end of their game.
I don't how they'll get any rest, I know I wouldn't be able to sleep after a win like this, or loss too...
Yea. Just like Turkey. Their game starts in 40 minutes.
This is just ed up.
Reporter: Will you be able to get any sleep today?
Nachbar: I will. If I don't, I'll ask Jaka for some pills. He's always taking something that helps him fall asleep in seconds. I don't know what it is. Something spanish, I guess.![]()
Neighbors Meet In Semi-Final
19 September 2009

They used to be part of one big country by the name of Yugoslavia - the cradle of modern European basketball to some people.
Today Slovenia and Serbia go head-to-head for the right to play on the biggest stage of the European game in the Semi-Finals of EuroBasket 2009 in Katowice.
Slovenia made history by making it to the top four of the continent for the first time in the history of the country.
Serbia, under different names and versions, won numerous les but since 2003 missed the medal games.
I guess we played for more than just Piran gulf against croatia...Neighbors Meet In Semi-Final
Jelinčič must be very happy![]()
Neighbors Meet In Semi-Final
lol, I feel bad for Croats now.![]()
WTF? We already played each other on this tournament.Head-to-head: This will be the first ever encounter between Slovenia and Serbia.
Better? Not.
Healthier? yes.
Slovenian victory? yeah!![]()
This team reminds me so much of the Spurs.
Defensive oriented team with great PF and PG and without backup PG and a team that lives by the three and dies by the three.![]()

haha
look at Golemac face on every pic above
he is sad man
It wasn't easy for him. Don't rub it in. He'll contribute today. Zdovc was right, not giving him a lot of minutes on court yesterday.
I am going to watch a replay of yesterday game peaceful (or is it peacefuly?).
It will start right about now on Šport TV 1.![]()
I think "peacefuly" is the right term.
I caught only the last minute or so... That push on Boki was simply brutal
He must be seriously banged up...
Here we go.
Man, pretty ugly game.
19:11 for Slovenia after 1st.
