No they were a trainwreck until that illegal trade. They sucked up to that point.

Give the MVP trophy to a choker
Stern should have given it to the biggest choker and the Lakers best player, Ray Allen
Not the first time they've given the MVP to the wrong guy............
them refs cooked this game up towards the end....the calls are just wack!!!
Ray Allen is going to have an interesting offseason
+1 That was some world-class ugliness at the Staples Center tonight...![]()
ron artest will be traded next year!
he should have just stopped playing after game 2....he lost millions with his brick laying after that
I felt a little bad for Ray. Dude was ice cold but the Celtics kept giving him the damn ball. KG had in Derek Fisher on him on a switch and he still played hot potato and gave it back to Ray. Paul Pierce. Where the was he? So many veterans on this team and NO ONE wanted the ball. Ray is gonna get the hate but he really got no help in the end.
Tonight, the Celtics outshot the Lakers from the field and from 3. They even hit 88.2% of their FTs to 67.6% for the Lakers. The extra 20 FTs for the Lakers were the difference. Congrats to the refs!![]()
Mark Jackson still suckin Kobe's . Does he ever come up for air?
I think they were booing Russell.
Celtics' only fault was having Finley on the team.
Classy California, no surprises here
As much as I hate to admit it, Artest pretty much shut him down all but game 5. Other than that he pretty much bottled him up.
This isn't good for Tim's legacy unfortunately.
LOL, good one.
He wants to be Kobe's Ahmad Rashad, but he still got quite a way to go - with MJ, Ahmad set the standard for hearty -gobbling and fierce rimming.
TD's legacy is already secure.![]()
To us of course but historically this fifth ring from Kobe pushes Tim to the curb. Somehow someway the Spurs need to get Tim that fifth ring![]()
