If she was as attractive as she is (although she does look a little man-ish), but was mentally disabled, would that make making fun of something she said unacceptable? That would definitely be another level! No, I don't think that making fun of the disabled is acceptable. As for Jessica Simpson, I really don't have an opinion of her one way or the other. There was a lot of focus on that "it says chicken" bit, but she used it to her advantage and she's obviously very popular. As far as I know, she hasn't done anything that could be seen as questionable, unlike other younger pop stars. She has actually stayed true to the beliefs she expressed at the beginning of her career.
