Yeah, it's been a great week, man. Watching our Spurs live twice in a week has been a special treat I won't forget. Here's hoping for a very surprising season and that we defy huge odds.

By that I mean Gasol instead of Duncan. Now the Spurs also have Lee and Dedmon in the mix. While Lee won't be an upgrade on D against them he can help in the rebounding battle and drawing fouls.
Parker and Gasol in the starting lineup is basically 3 on 5. Parker just flat out sucks man. Pau needs to come off the bench and Dedmon should be starting. I'd rather see Bertans out there instead of Anderson. God help the Spurs this season, Kawhi has to do too much because Pop and the Spurs FO want to maintain Parker's legacy by keeping him as a starter at the expense of the team.
Compared to last October, November and early December, they will probably need to win quite a few more close ones. Building a little character is always a good thing - but especially when you have had a lot of turnover of personnel and add a bunch of new/young guys. Of course ST will have a lot more meltdowns...
I've liked what I've seen these first 2 games, tbh. Spurs are going to have lows throughout the season but they look better already than last year's playoff team. And LDN and Bertans haven't even been in the mix. I'm excited for this team.
opposing teams have zero respect with Parker and Anderson..
Makes it really tough to start the game offensively. Hopefully, once Green is back...the starters get a little bit more room to operate
I really am curious how Bertans mixes in. He was wet in garbage time against the Dubs. I think we'll see what Bertans can contribute during the Rodeo Road Trip and when Pop starts resting guys, giving Bertans a start perhaps against a Nets-like team.
And I think Gasol will start to figure stuff out as the rest of the team does. He's not ever going to be a shut-down defender, but he can block shots and be in the right place. If they teach him Rasho-type positioning, he'll make plays just with his length.
Bertans will crack the rotation before then, IMHO.
The SL was pretty bad tonight Kawhi aside, LMA and Pau were awful on both sides of the floor, even tho Aldridge hit some timely shots in the 4th
Parker was totally unable to male shots, passed a couple of wide open shots and struggled against Lawson most of the game, but at least he didn't force anything, it seems to me he's starting to accept his role
Kyle is just too timid right now, and that makes the spacing of the SL SO bad, I guess that will improve once Green's back, I liked his D tho
The bench was the difference again tonight, Mills had a couple of huge threes
Simmons showed his ballhandling skills are not there yet, but played hard and brought a lot of energy
Lee and Dedmon were FANTASTIC and worked well together despite having no outside shot, their offensive rebounding was key for the win and Dedmon also did alright on Cousins
Manu didn't shot well, but I liked him a lot both both on offense and defense and the team plays much better with him on the court, not just because of his playmaking but also for his smart off the ball movement
I missed this game... my life is not just responding to trolling, TBH
While you cry about nonsense and suck off the kings. ing got
Man, that was an ugly game ... Kings were on a 2b2 and ran out of gas in the 4th. Atrocious 1st half by the Spurs and thankfully Kawhi was more aggressive again in the 2nd half after he was the only one scoring in the 1st quarter. Dedmon is a worker ... now I would like him to sub in early for Gasol (an early Manu sub would be nice as well) so we have less Dedmon/Lee together. Gasol sucks right now, but I do not know why anybody thought he would be better against Boogie.
43 pts by the bench
Is anyone in the NBA working as hard as KL on both ends of the floor? Five steals -- ridiculous.
And not just the steals, he was everywhere. Rebounding, deflecting, working the passing lanes... E V E R Y W H E R E![]()
This was one of those regular season playoff games. Kings came to play and they were opening up in their new house. Probably every team in the league outside of the Spurs/Cavs and possibly the Clips would have gotten beaten tonight.
Relish da Corn man.... relish da corn.
2 down, 80 to go, es!
KL = MVP
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
Anyone have Dedmon highlight? Just reading about his great game. Nate Duncan was very complimentary on his podcast this morning too.
Boogie showing Kawhi love after the game.
