I'm sure the Spurs handled it as best they could. It's likely a situation that you can't really handle. But buyer beware, he goes to any other team and this erratic behavior is unlikely to change. I mean, didn't the Lakers just have a player announce an injury to prevent him from being traded? Dysfunction can happen anywhere if you have players/family that are crazy. Don't be surprised if you get Kawhi and half way through the season he decides he hates playing with LeBron and he hates playing in LA and just stops showing up to games and practice and claims he's injured and then runs and hides in NY. LA has had their share of disasters: Bynum Bowling...Dwight Howard not wanting to learn how to win...Ball family...Artest...but they better be ready to take on an unpredictable headache.

I agree on Kawhi on all fronts...we don't know where his head or body is at right now, which devalues what you can get in return for him. I'm all for having him audition on some team for a year to prove he was the player he was before all this drama, before rashly signing him with a high risk potential.
