They're not fouling on purpose. Refs are just calling fouls on any contact at all even if it's not really a foul. There's been so much contact on every other drive this game and no calls. It almost seems like pity free throws.
Wow was that Duncan gettin nasty? Thugga right there next to him 2 lol.
Ahh how this team grew a sack over night.

and since durant and collison are in foul trouble.
you sure? The refs seems to be focused solely on spurs
Spurs have won all 3 qtrs
That was a long third quarter.
What was that all about?
Props to Splitter for hitting enough.
Now gotta regain the rhythm in the fourth. Don't let hack-a-splitter to actually work or else we'll see it the rest of the playoffs. Get right back to playing beautiful basketball.
I think Jack would literally kill Ibaka if he tried to do something to Duncan, fwiw.
Good thing is Tony got a huge rest. I'd start the quarter with him
Westbrook totally turning into the punk he really is, taking bad shots and getting badly outplayed by Tony.
Tonight has been a perfect example of the Spurs' chemistry and precision on O. An absolute clinic. Let's hope they have another quarter of it to complete the game.![]()
Good point. He also let Perkins use up 2.
LOL @ the hacking. I think it works out great for the Spurs, as Tony looked like he needed a rest bad right before they started and now he has gotten tons of time on the bench to be fresh for the stretch run. Also ROFL @ having Durant give up a foul so that he has four now. Yeah, try sticking Durant on Parker in the fourth now with him in foul trouble.![]()
C'mon guys, 1 quarter to go and we have this series on our hands.
I think it's on Jax and Ibaka
Oh and if the Spurs were actually making their FTs this game would be a blowout.
i saw Tim shaking his head before that final play, then just stood there afterwards and was saying something to Ibaka. Ibaka probably being a dirty .
Westbrook making spurs job so much easier on defense! Thanks west
Really good point. All that fouling made sure Tony could get his legs back under him.
When Pop needs fouls he goes with Anderson, Brooks goes with Durant and Perkins![]()
Good point.
Not much you can do when the FTs give the Thunder back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back possessions.
Exactly.
Even though Splitter isn't good at the line, I liked the move. Parker was looking gassed and got himself extra rest.
