I've got one professor that I've taken a few classes with who is notorious for giving us ridiculous amounts of books to read (my first class with him alone required 19 books), but this semester he only assigned 11, so that helped. It's a little more than a book a week, which isn't too bad, and then the other classes on top of it.

Engineering books would be a recipe for textbook-induced narcolepsy for me - props to you for getting through that.
