The Football Brainiacs are reporting that OL Jack Stewart of New Canaan, CT is visiting UT today.

Not based on the recent past.
Our case has been vastly overstated.
Per The Football Brainiacs, they're told that the Thursday announcement by DE/LB NaNa Osafo-Mensah will be him cutting down his list of schools "significantly."
Texas will make the cut, he'll be taking an official visit to Notre Dame this weekend and still plans on committing May 19th.
Vegas has been pretty spot on with UT's win totals the past few years, so that's what I'm interested in seeing.
Obviously the offense needs to improve dramatically before they start contending for anything.
I had no idea Vegas made projections or took bets on win totals for college teams.
Interesting. When will they put this coming season up for display? August?
My outlook is hoping the offensive line gets better, then hoping our QB situation is improved. Sam got figured out by the opposition last year imo. This might be due to his bad habits created by a horrible OL. Just remember him sprinting out and away from the line of scrimmage while looking downfield and throwing puffballs. He did not get turned running toward the line while throwing on so many occasions. Fix that please. He is not Randall Cunningham.
I honestly don't recall when those odds will be dropped, but my first thought is closer to the season in June or July.
but i do think that is reasonable to place UT's odds above miami, ND and USC. they are all sort of in the same set as Texas. and the one thing i did see from texas last year was a defense that could be formidable. that counts for at least something.
Quotes from CB Jaden Davis of Fort Lauderdale, FL before his official visit to UT (24/7):
“I’ve never been out there, so I’m excited,” Davis said. “Obviously, they are going to have great facilities and all of that. But I really want to see how the team works together as a family and how the coaches interact with the players. I want to see if it feels like home.”
“I’ve been talking to Coach Washington a lot,” Davis said. “He’s been my main recruiter. He’s told me about the tradition and all of that. He just wants me to come out and see everything for myself. He’s a really cool dude.”
“They produce defensive backs, man,” Davis said. “That’s the biggest thing that’s really standing out to me about them. Why not go to a place that produces defensive backs? They have something special going on with the 2018 guys they have coming in.”

Update on five-star CB Chris Steele of Bellflower, CA (24/7):
“They are definitely a top contender,” Steele said. “They brought in a lot of defensive backs, and that’s something that everybody keeps mentioning. But that doesn’t really concern me. I feel like I shouldn’t have a problem getting on the field. Like I said, I like Texas a lot.”
“I have a great relationship with Coach (Todd) Orlando and Coach Washington,” Steele said. “Coach Washington hits me up all the time to see how I’m doing. He’s a really good coach and knows what he is doing. I know he’ll have me prepared to play at the next level if I go there.”
“I like the way they produce defensive backs,” Steele said. “Earl Thomas is one of my favorite players, and he went there. I just love that tradition. When you think about Texas football, you think about defensive backs. That’s what I love about it the most.”
