Exactly, why is everyone so sure China will side with Putin. Who needs Taiwan, when you can grab all of Siberia and central Asia? Not to mention China imports a lot of food from Ukraine. Putin is now endangering China's food supply. China right now is happy to stay on the sidelines in this conflict and not get involved, but if this escalates, they will not hesitate to backstab Putin.
