Like OU, FSU,USC;
When Miami loses it’s a good day
Great player making a great play. All you can do is tip your cap
What is it with established coaches and not understanding when you need to call the time out?
Could have had at least another 20 seconds right now
I can't make the call. Could definitely go either way
It did look like it was still loose in his hands when he hit the ground
Honestly, I don't think you are all that wrong in this instance. Keeping Miami in the top 10 is good for business... especially with this being the first year of the expanded playoffs
But we might not even be talking about this if Virginia Tech's coach actually knew how to manage the clock
What is your opinion on the call? I really honestly can't tell.
Stole the words right out of my mouth
Political decision to keep the U in the Natty chase
I would be fine with the refs' decision if the call was originally an incompletion.
But they called it a TD, and the replay was such a mess that I didn't think there was anything definitive to overturn.
Va Tech lost the game here imo as they had all the momentum and chose not to take the points, and their clock management on the final drive was quite poor.
Yeah I was saying the same thing. They screwed themselves out of what, at least 30 seconds?
I had forgotten about the fake field goal. It was just poor coaching all the way around. They never should have had to throw that pass.
Yeah, in retrospect...I don't really have any sympathy for Virginia Tech. Between the crappy field goal call and the crappy clock management you basically got what you deserved.
Lol welcome to the big 10
