congrats warriors and their fans, baron davis pwns the mavs and dirk, well, i can't really come up with any excuses for him tonight. i think the mavs can pull out one win on tuesday (i hope they do, i'm going to the game) but i just don't see them winning the series as i stated after the warriors won game three. props to stack for having a great game and jho will always get my support.

good luck to all the other teams still left in the playoffs after the mavs get bumped.
I think the Mavs can respond, so it ain't over til' it's over...

but, yeah, I feel for you fans. Just remember, we Spurs fans have gone through some of the tiest Post-season Suicide LOSSES... 0.4 ! and the Manu Foul against your team.

So we can't say we haven't felt what you guys are feeling. You drew one of the worst ing matchups ever. Hopefully your team goes down swinging.

If I'm not watching Spur games, I've seen almost all of GS's games every year.

Scary part? I have yet to see the Warriors play their best game yet.

They're getting nothing from Monta Ellis and Harrington.
I didn't even notice Monta Ellis was in the game!

J Rich needs to shut his ing piehole.

    Cause Dirk could play better.

    Terry could shoot better.

All of that could go better.

Keep the mouth shut JRIch and just do your damn business.
But they're right, Mavs probably played their best game of the last three. In fact, Mavs were able to keep the game at their pace for most of the first half, and would have left up 3 if it weren't for that lucky shot by the hottest player in the series.

Mavs didn't even dominate the only game they won. They haven't even come CLOSE to dominating the other three.

Those were true compliments by Nellie & J-Rich!

    The mavericks are not done.

    not one bit.

They win the next game, that gets em confidence for the next game to win that one, then they come home and could blow em out.

They did it to the Rockets in 05....

...and plus T Park, these are the playoffs. If Mavs weren't ready for this series, it's on them. Warriors and all their fans deserve a good ing gloat tonight.

Gosh, this is hilarious. Little Brother (MavsFan), come back when your team is ready to perform when it counts. This regular season bullcrap means nothing.

There's comedy (Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle), there's high comedy (Austin, Texas, public access TV, especially the kooks), and then there's the Mavs gagging in the first round. They're making the Warriors look like the '96 Bulls.

I thought the Dallas Mavericks were supposed to be the Second Coming. They had a fine season ... shoot, beat us 3 out of 4. Oh well, guess it's time for Big Brother (us) to win another le.

Darn shame, actually, because I'm sure the Spurs wanted to put a good spanking on Dallas after what happened last year in the semis.

    were they down 3-1

I think the point is, the Mavs WERE favored to win, but they haven't shown that when it counts.

They played like pussies down the stretch for a 67 win team. And the Warriors have been playing like the 67 win team. And Baron Davis ing iced it like an MVP candidate with that amazing shot. So I dont' think the gloating is unwarranted at all, or discounting the Mavs in this series. The Mavs have brought the gloating on themselves.

Yeah down 3-to 1 to the Rockets.

Came home, won, went on the road, pulled one out, came home and blew out the Rockets by 30.

    It only takes 1 win.

    1 game at a time.

Mavs are still the Mavs. Six points down with less than one minute to go, I said to my son "These are still the Mavs". What happens? Dirk hits his first tre and after some FT's on the other end, hits another with :14 left of the clock, only down 3. If Avery hadn't burned his TO's, or Harris hadn't thrown it away...Mavs may have gone home with HCA back. But guess what? Avery and Harris both choked.

i agree, you guys should have your moment, the mavs are such letdowns but i will continue rooting for them because they're my team. sometimes i have to shake my head at why i continue to root for them but i still do. that's why we watch, to go crazy, make fun of other teams we hate, etc. anyway, only one team will remain at the end, so everyone should talk as much smack as possible now.

shouldn't you be drinking copious amounts of liquor right now?

You can say "Oh well, they just need to take it one game at a time and they can win the series. If they win Game 5, the pressure is back on GS"

Try this: GS just needs to win 1 game and they're done.

A team down 1-3 still has a chance if the scenario plays out in their favor, but the team up 3-1 has the better chance period.

Most people are freaking out over this series so far. To me its no surprise, just revealing what I've been saying all year: The Mavs are overrated. And the Mavs have hit the low point if Jerry Stackhouse is their leading scorer in a game.

Though the mavs can still win.....and the Spurs are nowhere near "safe" I cant help but laugh at this. The mavs are becoming the Longhorn football of the NBA (well...Longhorn football without Vince Young)

and im a horns fan so I can say that.

Oh, so T Park my point was: Mavs have shown nothing as of yet. They understood the importance of winning this game, but they made stupid mistakes down the stretch, airballed shots....traveling TO's.....Warriors OWN Mavericks. But that could all change in Dallas.

    Same way.

Like I said, free country, do as you please, I just can see Dallas coming back and winning. Tis all.

Dallas under pressure looking like a New Orleans levee.
Our levees are looking fine right now, actually. Everyone on Spurs Talk should plan a vacation to beautiful New Orleans this summer.

    Ok thanks.

I still see the Warriors outswaggering the Mavs. The Mavs pushed really hard, had a stellar performance from Stackhouse, were favored in calls, had two clutch too-little-too-late threes, and still lost! The only game they won was when B-Diddy was out in the fourth, and Warriors hardly had it together.

    That's gotta hoit!

I don't think the Warriors are gonna back down, and can see them killing all hope on Tuesday night.

for the look on Cuban's face. It could spell implosion....

    Yup.

because until the buzzer sounds and the Warriors have won one more game, the series is not over, and the mavericks are not dead.

    REALITY.

That's true and didn't the Mavs blow out the Spurs in one of the early outings, like GS did to Dallas. Game 2, or 3 I think.
I just remember they were ALL but one or two close games decided by 5, and both teams tried to edge each other out first, but the Mavs had just the slightest sliver over us.

I'm just stating, in my humble opinion, that I'm not feeling a comeback from the Mavs by the way the series looks. To each his own.
