Scola is the best PF from the Argentina team bar non! They don't call him Big Manu for nothing. Scola will be a 20-10 player when he gets more than 37 min a game. He will get the Rockets to the playoffs and beyond.

    Whott Ownage is hilarious

    By the way!

    Damn you ScolaFans are stupid...

20 and 10? Are you really that ing stupid?

He will never average that for a season. Never.

    Big Manu?

That is a huge insult to Manu.

    Greatest foreign PF ever?

Holy ...you guys don't know jack about basketball...it's like you really don't know anything.

Best Argentinian PF ever? LOL that one you might have...since he's the only one to ever play in the NBA other than Wolkowyski...who couldn't handle it.

He's a ing scrub at best...I know it's a big deal for you Argies to see a PF score 15 points in a game...but there have been 300,000 of them that have done it in the NBA.

I know RocketFan is bandwaggoner who is most likely new to following basketball, but that's no excuse for not seeing that Scola is being challenged for the PF spot on his own inmjury depleted team.

ROY of the year isn't either...he's 28 ing years old. He should have been the best rookie from day 1 if he was any kind of a longterm talent...as it was, he got his ass kicked by 19 year olds.

And you guys want to put him the HOF?

    For what?

    Choking in Europe?
Riding Manu's jock to a gold medal?

Having a couple of non ty games in the NBA(it's about time).

Just enjoy it...if you guys would lay off Scola's for a day you would see that you haven't owned when it comes to Scola and my evaluations of him. You are just too intoxicated on your own stupidity to see it.

    In closing... Scola. Scrub.

Ok, while I don't agree he is the best foreign PF in the world, he is far from a scrub.

Scola is the player with the highest basketball IQ on the Rockets, he is so smart and crafty.

There is a reason that since he was inserted into the starting lineup at the PF position the Rockets are 16-0 it is because of him.

He is a good rebound, great passer, crafty around the basket and moves without the ball into open space so darned well, and he has a nose for the ball.

Scola is why Houston is still in it despite losing Yao Ming.....the guy just has the "it" factor.

Now is he a star? No, not a star per se, but a star as a team player, he makes everyone on the team better and inspires them to play harder.....

Scola is a perfect fit for the Rockets, we needed a passionate player to bring energy, fire and determination.

As for people whining about calling him the big Manu...come on they are both from Argentina and they are the 2 best Argentinian players..by a long shot.

And with Scola leading them this past summer, they qualified for the Olympics ....without Manu and Oberto, etc.....Scola can play the game, he is a flat out baller....

The Spurs did the Rockets a favor, and we thank you.

    Nocioni?

They just might because all of them play a team first game, and most of the players from the USA are me-first types.

    Team trumps me.

scola has a very low turnover ratio, so there's no wasted possession with him in the game, that's why he's been so effective. If the spurs had scola they are sure to repeat again, that's why i will forever hate lindsey, why did we get him as GM from the ROCKETS! Stupid move like Kerr.

Argentina team just like US team have seen some Euro team catch up with them. Spain Lithuania Greece are teams that can beat them and US also all 5 these team have chance in Olympics.

Agreed because they play team ball.

Any chance V-Span comes back next year, or is his buyout too large?

Well Bonner had an awesome performance...

    15 points and 4 rebounds.

If he was Argentine...he'd the be their greatest PF ever..or at least in the top 2. I mean he can hit threes.

Amazingly enough...everyone sucks when they get DNPED or extremely limited minutes per game...and amazingly enough, a lot of guys that basketball newbies think suck, can put up nice numbers when they actually get the minutes to do so.

And in closing, I'd like to offer the final statement on the matter...

You think Scola would be getting the same minutes on the Spurs?

Because Pop would play him the same minutes?

Pop is the guy that okayed trading him...

    So think again.

How many games has Matt Bonner started in his career compared to Scola?

And Bonner's best night is better.

Yet still signed him over Scola.

    So think again.
Looked to me like Bonner was played last night...while Scola remained traded.

Just because the guy can put up stats doesn't mean Pop will play him.

    Sin,

    Beno Udrih

And just because he can't doesn't mean Pop won't.
