    That is a start.

Flynn is rolling over on and ratting someone else out.

Please make more statements about how this isn't about the election.

Specifically make a statement that there wasn't any collusion during the election, and that no charges will be filed against a member of the Trump team for actions undertaken during the election.

    Please, oh please, oh please...
I will predict there are no convictions for collusion.

Reality is starting to sink in

"Friday morning’s guilty plea from former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn is a major disappointment for Democrats. Flynn admitting to having made false statements is nowhere near where the Democrats want this to go. Of course, the story is big and the fact that a former White House official has been charged with anything and pleaded guilty is consequential, but it doesn’t suggest any collusion occurred and it doesn’t even get close to confirming that Donald Trump or his campaign was somehow complicit in a nefarious scheme.

Democrats are already straining themselves trying to suggest that Flynn’s plea is just the beginning and that there is more to come. But as far as Flynn is concerned, that is unlikely. It is just wishful thinking on their part. It’s not as though he pleaded guilty only to leave unresolved matters for later."

"Once the dust settles, the Democrats and their media allies will realize that there is nothing more to this story than what Flynn has admitted to. Commentators are saying Flynn has agreed to cooperate, as if that is something new. The fact is, there was never a time when Flynn wasn’t cooperating. He has been a cooperating witness since special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation began.

The Democrats won’t admit it, but they are throwing in the towel on collusion. Their only choice now is to prop up the convoluted claim of obstruction of justice, and that could go on forever. The ordeal may be bothersome for the White House, but it won’t be fatal.

Oh and by the way, let’s reflect on what has happened in this investigation so far. Paul Manafort and Rick Gates were indicted on matters associated with foreign-agent registration and money laundering that predated any engagement they had with Trump. Flynn has pleaded guilty to a crime that occurred after the campaign was over. To be precise, none of this involves the president or his campaign. It’s all ugly and ragged, but this White House has a lot of ugly and ragged.

Even if Flynn says he was instructed by the president to be in touch with the Russians, so what? All that would mean is the president-elect told his national security adviser to do his job. Don’t be fooled by the breathless, desperate reaction from the usual suspects. As far as the White House is concerned, the Flynn guilty plea is a 4 on a scale from 1 to 10.

Sorry, Democrats. The investigations and “collusion” outrage are running out of steam, well short of reaching the president’s doorstep."

Very hard to prove until you get people rolling over, which is probably happening.

You already have quite a few meetings with Russians, some of which were with sanctioned oligarchs. That kind of collusion is a crime, to my understanding.

Fun to watch Trump meltdown in the process.

So Flynn was told to contact the Russians after the election was won, yet the Trump team had been in contact and colluding with the Russians the entire election? ok

Oh noes collusion with Britain too!

    http://foreignpolicy.com/2017/03/21/...ast-diplomacy/

Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s principal Middle East advisor, embarked on his maiden diplomatic mission even before his father-in-law was inaugurated. His task: get Britain to help scuttle a U.N. Security Council resolution denouncing Israeli settlements.

It is not only common, but normal for newly elected but not yet inaugurated presidents to have contact with foreign governments and leaders.

[E]ven before winning the November 4 election, Obama unofficially used what experts call “track two” discussions to approach America’s two foes in the region.

Nuclear non-proliferation experts had several “very, very high-level” contacts in the last few months with Iranian leaders, said Jeffrey Boutwell, executive director for the US branch of the Pugwash group, an international organization of scientists which won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1995.

Former defense secretary William Perry, who served in Obama’s election campaign, participated in some of these meetings focused on “a wide range of issues that separate Iran from the West: not only their nuclear program but the Middle East peace process, Persian Gulf issues,” Boutwell told AFP.

The Pugwash official declined to name the other participants, except to say they had considerable clout.

Omri Ceren’s righteously outraged that Obama would undermine Bush by meddling in foreign policy, particularly during a campaign when he stood to benefit personally from the results. Fair enough; watch the short clip below from early January to see just how egregious The One’s hypocrisy here is. I’m not so sure, though, that talking to either country had the effect of undermining anything. In the case of Iranian nukes, they’ve been jerking the west around for years to buy time. How do you “undermine” that? It’s a transparent farce, neatly illustrated by the fact that even the guy in charge of keeping the bomb out of their hands can’t get his story straight about how long it’ll take them to build one. As for Syria, Omri notes that Assad’s willingness to chat with Israel sure did seem to Change after he met with emissaries from Hope, the implication being that Obama’s advisors might have promised him better concessions if he held out until The One was in office. Would Assad really need to be formally told that a Democrat would go softer on him than John McCain would, though? Every enemy regime had an incentive last year to hold out on Bush in hopes of a better deal from Obama. As stupid as Assad is, he’s not so stupid that he couldn’t figure that out.

Flynn pleading guilty and cooperating sounds like a nothing to you?

I have a feeling that even if Trump gets the cuffs, you idiots will be crying about how he's going to jail for nothing and what injustice this is.
