ME TOO!! I loved cinderella from the age of 2 till 16 I swear. I even saw an off broadway version, and I owned every inderella book every7 published. I don't remeber seeing it in the theater tho.. what year was that??

The 1st movie I have an actuall memory of going to see was Short Circuit it was at the drive in... we had a big buick station wagon, and on the screen behind us they were showing GhostBusters...which my brother and I were not allowed to watch..but we kept sneaking looks at over our shoulder.....

I had that thing too.. infact I think my mom juts recently threw it out .. (pack rat).
I had almost every book record combo from Disney... and I'd get other ones fro mthe public Library.
Then I'd try to read the books to my brother or sisiter in the voice on the record.

She really is an amazing soul.

She told the story of how her parents broke up when she was very young. Her mother had always wanted to be an actress. They were in the process of breaking up when her husband, Jon Voight, got nominated for an Oscar. He took his girlfriend to the ceremony. Angie spoke of how difficult it must have been to be home with two babies while your estranged husband is living your dream. She said that the night she won the Oscar for Girl, Interrupted was very important for the family, as it was important for her mother to see the two children she held all those years ago sitting at the ceremony together. She gave her mom the statue.

Well they are pretty lame from my childhood cause I'm too darn old.
I rented Escape to Witch Mountain for my kids a while back thinking they would enjoy it like I did when I was a kid.....they tought it was the dumbest movie ever made.

SEE, that's where the whole "Real Beauty" thing started. Not with ads and tv shows......but those damn Disney Movies. I mean, why couldn't that damn Cinderella have been a short, fat princess with Acne Problems? Why couldn't they put on some glasses and frizzy hair on that damn Snow White?!?!

well Cinderella HAD to be pretty.. she was gonna be a princess. And she;s been pretty for hundred's of years before disney grabbed her up.
BUT... she was a dirty freakin meess for most of the story. I mean she was covered in cinders, kithcen muck, horse stall muck, and chicken coop muck.
and if you think about it .. i nthe disney version she's playng with mice fer christ's sake.. um, ewww. not clean.

cinderella's mice were not caged mice from a breeder... they were wild house and field mice.. there's a difference.
I don;t have a problem with mice as pets.. i used to own a huge rat myself. But face it, scientifcly, these things carry disease.... remeber the black plague?

I'll bite: I hate Law and Order....especially Criminal Intent---that main guy on that show is so annoying it's not even funny. His acting and mannerisms is so bad, that if I had a gun I'd shoot it at the Television set. Seriously, I've never hated a TV actor as much as that guy.

He did ask her actually, but not in those terms. They did touch on the subject that she added fuel to the fire with her behavior and she admitted that she thought the whole thing was ridiculous but that she chose to ignore it rather than fight the rumors.
