pre meditated buyer's remorse. i had the money. the card was smoking, but i had doubts. there was 6 to 7 of them laying out, then i looked over and saw metroid. boy, it was tough. i can only imagine the look on my face when i spotted them.

Holiday season is almost here. You don't want to regret it later. It's a good purchase, you could make a profit by reselling later, but it depends on the demand. It's a niche system for now, but Wii sports is ing addicting. I've had a few fun nights with friends and family getting plastered and trying to play baseball or bowling. Good "party" console.

I can see how that works, but I'm sure I could have better luck with the PS3 and it's lack of a library.

Pick up Wii Play too, it's a good deal because it comes with another wireless controller, which you'll need anyway. The game itself has a "duck hunt" game, air hockey, pool, etc.

the tennis game is really fun, i played it at a friend's house a month ago. i want a Wii now.

I had the opposite experience yesterday -- had games in my hand and had fully talked myself into buying a Wii only to go up to the counter and find out they had none.

Better in the long run anyway, as I really should be too busy to play videogames, but I'd be playing right now if they hadn't been out.

That's NBA 08, produced by Sony, not EA's NB A Live 08. Give EA some credit; they should be able to pull a 5.5 with their offering.

I played NBA 07 (ps3) at a gamestop once, and it was terrible. The fact that it has NBA on TNT is pretty cool though, but the gameplay and sound is really bad.

I already have GH3 reserved, but I'm waiting on the bundle for Rock Band, the one that comes with the guitar, drums, mic and game. Gamestop has it listed for $199. But that's probably gonna change.

God damn I hate Madden 08.

I was the Chargers facing the Bears, and the Bears were marching down the field. I stopped them on the 1 yard line and it was 3rd down, so they tried Play Action. I read the play perfectly and picked it off in the endzone.

As soon as a ran out of the endzone with the ball , I get tripped from behind, fumble the ball, and Grossman picks it up and runs for a TD .

That same game, with two minutes left, I picked off the ball and almost ran it all the way for a TD, but was stopped @ the 3 yard line. The first play I run for LT, he fumbled and gives it back. Grossman then proceeds goes ape with ungodly accuracy and ties the game sending it into OT, where I won on an LT 54-yard TD run.

Yes, Madden 08 is a piece of . Every single aspect of it sucks. Gameplay, presentation, sound, music, tackling, running, passing, fumbling, INTs, animations, online lag, unresponsive menus, the radio announcer, the PA announcer, etc...

Everything needs to be redone, even if they don't release a Madden next year.

Madden has it's turnover problems and the radio announcer sucks, but saying the tackling, running, passing, and animations suck is taking it a bit far.

Didn't the dev team on Call of Duty say everyone who signed up would get the beta? I never did but still get emails from the COD site. It's not a big deal though cause the full game is out next month.
