It won't be Fultz he's not being traded so you don't have to worry. I think it'll be Covington/Saric/Filler+Miami Pick, Sixers 2019 pick, rights to Kings 1st 2019 protected pick.
I find it truly hard to believe SA would trade with PHI and not get Fultz. If that is true, then PHI just blew their chance at ever doing anything with their core.

Fultz isn't even good, it's basically just a way for the franchise to save face...if they can't even pull his bust ass in a deal then they should just let Kawhi walk for nothing next season tbh
he's an injury-ravaged season removed from being a consensus #1 pick and is 20 years old. he's still a blue chip prospect. saric/convington is nice but offers no upside.

So Kawhi is going to Boston eh?
Doesn't look like they're offering Jaylen Brown for someone who said Philly are the only Eastern Conference side he'd consider resigning with.

If we were to deal with Toronto.. surely we would be offloading some of our bad contracts as well? (Mills, Pau)

You could kill two birds with one stone depending on what we get back...

Who do you plan to get him with, Saric and Covington on an awful contract?
I'm not in the know so I'm not sure. I know as much as you guys but maybe we throw in Zhaire in a few weeks, Boldon?, Korkmaz?, Shameet? are some options.

I'd only take RoCo if we include patty in any Philly deal.

They'd want to offload Demar DeOverpaid right back though.

An article for those who think we'll trade Markelle, I'm so confident in his ability i'd be prepared to walk away from a deal and I think Brett Brown feels the same if it ever got to the point Fultz was needed to secure Kawhi which is why I know he won't be included if we get him which I'm growing in confidence we will.
So they hope and pray Fultz gets as good as.................Kawhi ?

Hey, I’m not going to give you this lottery ticket because the jackpot IF I win is $1,000,000 and they winning ticket you are trying to trade me is only worth $999,999.

Regardless, Philly's package sans Fultz is every bit as ty as what the Lakers offer. It'd be better for the Spurs to hold onto Kawhi and try to resign him. If not they at least aren't tied down by mediocre prospects that put them no closer to contention.

If it’s true that PHI is getting some assurances, then they are even dumber than I thought for not offering Fultz.

We'll see, this forum seems down on Fultz yet would happily take him in a trade. Our core is Embiid/Simmons AND Fultz. I saw enough fo Fultz in his brief appearances towards the end of the season to know if he gets his jumper down he's a multiple time all star such was his ability. He can do absolutely everything on a court bar the obvious, also an underrated defender.

If he does fufill his potential then we have another ball handler in the lineup on a rookie contract on the ascendency, we'll be fine.

DeRozan, Anunoby, and Valanciunas for Leonard, Mills, and Gasol works in the Trade Machine. Toronto will most certainly have to add picks given they’re offloading a terrible contract in DeRozan. The Spurs can throw in Brandon Paul but I’m not sure he has any value and if he moves the needle in any significant way. DeRozan’s and Anunoby’s deals expire simultaneously so if San Antonio hypothetically wouldn’t want to keep DeRozan, Anunoby would be a good insurance policy. Anunoby was compared to Kawhi, kind of a Leonard lite with healthy quads and hopefully no money-hungry uncles.

if there's no flutz i'd probably prefer a lakers package with ingram to a pure saric/covington offer. the sixers deal is better short term without much to be excited about going forward. bolden and another pick instead of fultz? i dont know. but saric/covington isn't going to get this done

Total Pop move tbh, so Kawhi you want to be a Laker/Clipper this season? well nah, your getting traded to Toronto, Canada to play for the Raptors.

Anyway I sense these rumors could turn into a 3 team trade with Philly, Raptors and Spurs. The question is who would get Kawhi? Philly or Toronto.

So you think adding All-Star Fultz bridges the 4-1 playoff defeat gap when Boston is adding All-Star Kyrie and All-Star Hayward ?

Hey, question, is Fultz still hurt? He’s not getting any burn on Summer League. Normally someone who hasn’t played most of the year might want to play there to get in the rhythm of things. And what is up with that jump shot? Form looked great in college, what’s with that funky looking jumper?

Neither of those guys is worth a top 3 player on the peak of his powers, tbh. You would be dumb to not get Kawhi because of Fultz. In the unlikely scenario that Markel snaps out of whatever is wrong with him, he will never even be half of the player Kawhi is.

You need to take advantage of the fact that we really don't want to trade Kawhi to the Lakers, give us Fultz, Miami's 2020 pick and run away as fast as robbers do after committing a felony.

I mean, how crazy are people

Talking about a guys potential when in the same article they linked people were excited he was finally able to shoot the ball from further than 5 feet??? Am I taking crazy pills.

I had a PHI fan tell me on Twitter that they didn’t want to “sell low” on Fultz. As if getting a legit MVP caliber player was selling LOW for a guy that MIGHT be a good player

    Testing, testing.

This is my first post. Checking to see if I have permissions to post.

Anyway, I can't wait for all of this Kawhi drama to be over with.

I am obviously new to this message boards.

Are there any legit, respected insiders on this board? If so, who are they?

Is there any truth to the Philadelphia rumor for Kawhi?

Hated to see TP leave. End of an era for sure.

    Hope ya'll are good.

    Go Spurs!
    Sup got.
