It's why we've been a pretender the past two years. We're a one-dimensional, jump-shooting team. The playoff teams will be content to let us shoot ourselves out of games.
Now THAT is strange. Have to hear Pop's explanation on that one.

It's like Pop doesn't look at results whatsoever. He just goes with whatever hair-brained schemes he can think up.
lol tim for 3
Ginobili 4-14
You can go and jerk off over our loss now, dancing elephant.
They should have gone for a two there.
exactly. that's why that bs "it's not about who starts" quote needs to be said no more. our starts the last two games killed us.
nice way to test yourselves on the road, spurs.
McDyess's defense is still MIA, but if he finds his jumper we may have something.
ing wtf was wrong with us tonite??? this is crazy how we start so slow in the 1st quarter . bonner and trade his ass. pop
I actually feel better after seeing that 4th quarter.
TOR, DAL, OKC all @SA, can Spurs get a least one?
The bad defense in the first half came back to cost the Spurs the game. Not thrilled with the effort but at least there were positive signs.
Nice to see BB and timvp in the game thread.
Later all.
All hail "spurms"! LOL! Spurs are better then this.
At least my fantasy team doesn't suck...
Nothing? Spurs had a lot of growth tonight win or lose...much improved defense.
People forget that there are a lot more new players this year, all who need time to adjust to each other.
This was a back-to-back and we were without our pg and leading scorer with Parker going down. Folks need to chill...this team will be rolling in march.
Forgot about him. Did he even get a touch in the 4th?
Pop should be pissed at himself considering he's half the reason we lost this one.
At least we finished strong on the road, and shorthanded at that. The loss is upsetting, but it was encouraging to see them creating turnovers.
Oh well, we lost. Manu needs to get his head out of his ass. He's nowhere near where he needs to be. I say less minutes for Manu these next couple of games.
If Tony plays the next game, the offense needs to revolve around him and RJ. I'd also like to see some high low action with Tim and Dyess.
Too bad championship teams are not measured by how they do against average teams. The Spurs record against the better teams in the league is far more telling with regards to being a contender.
I want to see if they can consistently beat the top teams. Hopefully as they progress, they get to that point.
I liked RJ, Bogans and Dice
Finley and Mason were horrible
