    Sounds exactly like Chepo...and Aguirre.

I don't want more of the same, bielsa please.
How many Mexican teams did Bielsa crown in his time in Mexico?

    Who cares?

You want to stay with the same old same old and just continue the carousel of mediocre Mexican league coaches?

But if it had to be a Mex coach Vuce is top of the list/most qualified but he already said he didn't want too.

Fernando Schwartz reported a few minutes ago on TV that the owners have decided to keep Chepo but that he's on a very short leash. If he doesn't get at least four points against Honduras and USA, he will be kicked to the curb.

    The drama continues.

The thing is that it's either Chepo or Tomas Boy. You have to pick your poison.

It looks like the Mexican/Japanese kid that was training in La Masia (FC Barcelona's Academy) is on that squad (for the U-16 tourney you mentioned above).

Ryuken Nishizawa Fung, Cancun native (born in 1999) of Japanese (great-grandfather) and Chinese (grandfather) descent, he was in a escola of Barza, now with the formative Catalonian club C.F.

    Mexican Star

A fourteen year old (updated) has given people reasons to talk about him with his impressions at the Barcelona Academy. He was born in Cancun, Mexico, his father a Mexican with Japanese heritage and his Mexican mother with Chinese heritage raised a kid with the passion in his blood. His a player that has the warrior character of a traditional Mexican footballer but with the Barcelonista technique. Before he arrived in Spanish soil he was in various Mexican clubs such as Chivas, Atlante and Pachuca-Cruzeiro.
He was assessed with two preliminary test through the internet, and he was one of the fourteen chosen among 4000 participants. He since then has participated in various teams of the Barcelona reserves and has achieved a 2.33 goal per game ratio.
It is too early to determine his future for a possible calling to a national team. His eligibility is scandalous he can play for Mexico, Japan, China, and Spain all because of heritage and his current state in the Spanish country. Whichever team he chooses to give his all we be a great asset to the team.

n/v... Brain freeze moment. His name wasn't on the squad. The tournament is being hosted in Japan.

Look at the snippet I found on the interwebs:

"If all goes well we would have a very diverse world cup squad in Russia.

Gio dos Santos - 29 - Half Brazilian
Jonathan dos Santos - 28 - Half Brazilian
    Eder Borelli - 27 - Argentine Mexican
    Emilio Omam-Biyik - 23 - African Mexican
    Ryuken Nishizawa - 19 - Asian Mexican"

These mexican coaches don't want to call up any of those players you listed. Quote straight from Potro Gutierrez's mouth, "Unless he is as good as Messi Im not calling him" and that was towards Emilio Omam-Biyik.

Some of that I think is due to the fact that he doesn't want others believing that he is extending "favoritism" towards the son of his former teammate.

For example, I know it's a dated article, but it's not the same tone he takes here:

Yeah dude that was the teams name, you can see Gio is the best they got, I feel like Gio should be playing with a team like Valencia, I hope he does well with Villareal so he can get out of there quick and transfer into a more contending team.

Why doesn't he go to Valencia? last time I heard Valencia is looking to add him to their squad, I mean Valencia cannot compete with Manu in terms of history but at least he'll be a starter and will be ready for the World Cup.
