Sen. Ron Johnson should have stayed in bed, tbh. Chuck Todd abandoning his "both sides" hauteur is a bad sign for the GOP.
Maybe they could book DarrinS or ducks.
They couldn't do much worse than the Senator from Wisconsin did on MTP.
Intel whistleblowers were inherently good when we had black president, now THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
Trash is alwys "perfectly guiltless", so now, many days after the wb blew, Trash is "blaming someone else", that das ly Jimmy Ricky, supposedly pushing some LNG energy stuff with Z, who tricked Trash into committing a crime.
If only Z phone transcript had Trash discussing LNG business with Z.
cheap Ron Johnson from Kockistan?![]()
This is NOT a partisan issue.
If we no longer think it is important for current Presidents to contact foreign powers and ask for background checks into dealings of potential adversaries in a Presidential election lets just write that into some ammendment. I dont care about quid pro quo, I dont care about others involved.
Is this a serious impeachable offense or not? If not, the red team and the blue team need to come up with an amendment that gives more power to the executive branch concerning this issue. I am sure the blue team can use this as effectively as the red team. If we want a more authoritarian government in which foreign powers have a say on who is president, lets just agree and go forward. We can certainly ask the Russians on how we can attempt to make this sort of thing legal. Maybe we can even get ideas on how to get rid of political opponents quietly.
All the other issues about others involved, quid pro quo, are icing. The real issue has already been stated and needs to be discussed by the red team. Trump has challenged his party to fall in line again with China.
Why is this so difficult?
I want red team members to come out and say this: It is perfectly legal and accepted for current Presidents to contact foreign powers (intelligence agencies, presidents, prime ministers, dictators) to ask for background checks into dealings of potential political adversaries in a Presidential election.
Trump has put this directly forward through action. Just say its perfectly legal and accepted.

TBH, O'm not really sure why we need any whistleblowers when DJT asked China to meddle in our internal affairs on TV, on the South Lawn of the White House.
Trump’s ‘transparent’ ploy to make Rick Perry the fall guy for his Ukraine disaster destroyed by ex-prosecutor
“Now he’s throwing Rick Perry under the bus,” he continued with a smirk,
“which I find amusing because
it goes from perfect phone call with Zelensky, a beautiful phone call,
but if anything is wrong with it it’s Rick Perry’s fault.
how transparent is this shifting narrative?
Congress does need to move out on the central abuse that’s impeachable and there’s plenty of time to investigate everything else.”

Trash knows his stupid, ignorant base will believe anything he says, so he says stupid, ignorant , and many STalkers suck it down like BBQ sauce on a turd.
Perry pressed Ukraine on corruption, energy company changes
The energy secretary's role in pushing the president's message in Kiev was more extensive than publicly known
Energy Secretary Rick
Perry urged Ukraine's president to root out corruption
and pushed the new government for changes at its state-run oil and gas company
indications that
he was more deeply involved than previously known
in President Donald Trump’s efforts to pressure officials in Kiev.
The people said they have
no indication that Perry explicitly called on Ukrainian officials to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter,
Perry played an active role in the Trump administration's efforts to shape decisions by the newly elected government of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Sounds like Trash, very probably incurious about and ignorant of much of what is Exec kakistocracy is doing,
heard about a couple days ago about Perry's Ukraine activities, and decided to throw Perry under a bus to protect himself.
Lol Jim Jordan Mr. Magooing it up on This Week.
They coming out of the woods![]()
The Senate can't stop impeachment, silly.
It can only decide not to convict and remove.
They were all virtuous truthtellers when we had a black president.
What changed your mind?
How much money funneled thru the NRA- from RUssia- did albino senator ron johnson take?
Chuck todd should have asked that question after the albino practically pulled out a gallon of trumps and swallowed it on the air!
Pobrecito Spurs Homer
Aparrently, Obama's war on whistleblowers went down the memory hole

No one posted more about Obama's war on whistleblowers in this forum than me. The pointy end of my stick was pointed at the likes of you.
Hey Darrin, which of the five Trump Ukraine narratives do you believe?
Or are you going with all of them/whatever White President says?
Look, at a very, very basic level, we should all be able to agree that his brazenness and sheer stupidity is mind boggling. There's no question that his direct ask for dirt on political opponents is, at the very least, extremely improper.
He had Pompeo, and now Gina da killa on the CIA, which could've run this whole thing as a covert op. Rudy, who is literally his right now.
The impression this leaves is that they couldn't develop this in time for the election, so he decided to get involved, which is a huge mistake, and only speaks about his amateurism and desperation.
Pretty much everything he's said since this came to light has also been a double down on stupid: snitches eat lead, the China ask, meeting with the whistleblower, etc. smh
