Success
Annual fatality on sweeden looking approximately in line with previous years..... success
Lol "sweeden"
"approximately" :Lol
https://www.statista.com/statistics/...ber-of-deaths/
2016 90982 deaths
2017 91972 deaths
2018--92185 deaths
2019--88766 deaths
Remarkably stable. This is how things normally work Variances of 2 to 3 percent.
2020 to july 17--56408 deaths
Jan 1 to Jul 17 is 198 days.
198/365 =.5424658
56408 should equal 54.24658% of the years fatalities, assuming a fairly stable death rate for all years between days/months.
56408/.5424658= 103984 on an annualized basis.
This represents a 17% jump in deaths over the previous year.

They lost. Many people also claim that Sweden "won" because they didn't lockdown like Italy, Spain, and other hard hit countries who had a similar death rate. But in creating my plot, those hard hit countries actually didn't enact measures soon enough and ramped up lockdown efforts too late to crush the curve.
BeahahahhahahahahahHHhHahHahHH
This is gold.
A scatterplot.
Beahahahhahahahahahhahajahahahhajahaahhaha
Used to link correlation with causation.
Bwahahhahahahahahahahhaha
bqahahahhahahahahahhaha trying to identify trend and probability by simply dividing.
Bwahahahahahhshshshshhshshshshshshshhs
You and midnightpulp are hysterical
.75 correlation coefficient. STRONG
Beahahahhahahahahahhajaha
You dont understand statistics
The basic concept that observations do not = causation is a mathematical fact that you and RandomGuy do not understand.
Lol your math
It is the strongest, most beautiful coefficient ever. People are saying they have never seen such a strong correlation coefficient. Democrats hate strong correlation coefficients, they want to take them away, because I will use them to build the wall. Man woman camera correlation coefficient tv
Wwahhaahahahahhahahahahah bump for RandomGuy not knowing what to say to make midnightpulp feel secure in his chart.
Wahahahahahahahah
The Health Agency of Sweden says that since hitting a peak in late June, the infection rate has fallen sharply. That’s amid an increase in testing over the period. “The curves are going down and the curves for the seriously ill are beginning to approach zero,” Tegnell said
The development follows months of controversy over Sweden’s decision to avoid a full lockdown. The unusual strategy coincided with a much higher Covid-19 mortality rate than elsewhere in the Nordic region. Per 100,000, Swedish deaths even exceeded those in the U.S. and Brazil.
On Tuesday, Sweden reported two new deaths, bringing the total to 5,702.
Tegnell also broached the subject of face masks, which the World Health Organization recommends people use when social distancing isn’t possible.
“With numbers diminishing very quickly in Sweden, we see no point in wearing a face mask in Sweden, not even on public transport,” he said.
Tegnell has consistently argued that Sweden’s approach is more sustainable than the sudden lockdowns imposed elsewhere. With the risk that Covid-19 might be around for years, he says completely shutting down society isn’t a long-term option
They "lost."
And their tail is fatter than Denmark, Norway, and Germany.
Success!
They won. Or the other nordic countries wouldn't have said so.
Your graph will be incomplete for years based on lockdown incurred deatg and illness. Sweden will not have that. And by the end of the year their annual death rate will be known.
Enjoy
They didn't.
Tholdren thinks higher death rate = winning
Blake doesn't understand statistical analysis.
Per the Dutch govt
Masks not science

But they're still required in airports and on public transport.![]()
