It is quite fun. But stealing players gets old.
If you take the individual player models off the field and put them somewhere like a playground, the game motions are actually pretty good but the gameplay is aweful. The entire game itself is a real piece of . The field dimensions and physics in comparison to the players are way ing off. Half of the game is either missing this year or not functional. You can't even see your 1 and 2 wide recievers when lining up. Its pretty bad, never in my life have I been so disappointed in a game. I've never seen so many glitches either. I could list a good 10 fundamental problems that weren't issues previously and another 10 glitchs that should of been fixed before the game even hit stores, its that bad. I actually went back and got 08 for the ps2 just to get my fix, by the way the ps2 version is great.
The game has a long way to go and I don't doubt for a minute that the exclusivity rights have a lot to do with this product slipping off the last couple of years.
EA is officially in bad standing with the BBB due to their 2-3 year run of bad games. All we can do is hope for next year.

In The Bigs Rookie Mode, after you beat a team you get to keep one of their players.
Not going to argue as you make good points...especially about not being able to see your 1 and 2 receivers. But I think it's a decent game and it's MUCH beter thatn 06 and 07 on 360 if you've ever played those pos.

It's better than APF 2k8. By a ing mile.
Slap nfl helmets on real players, and APF would kick the out of madden, just like 2k did every single year they made football games.

I have been playing Company of Heroes a lot lately. Been watching the WW2 special on PBS a lot, as well (called "The War"...excellent series). Watched Flags of our Fathers, too.

Freezepop will be on Rock Band since it's developed by Harmonix (the ones responsible for GH1 and 2) and GH3 is being developed by Neversoft.
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! I am going to buy me a 360 today. I can't wait on the PS3 any longer!! The question I have is the 360 pro for $349 a good one to buy?? I know that the one for $279 is the lower end one. Any suggestions??
Don't buy the core because you'll just end up having to buy a Hard Drive which is expensive and you don't get wireless controllers.. What you want to find is an Xbox 360 with a Falcon processor, those are supposed to run cooler and not have the problems of the older version. Unfortunately, I think right now only the Halo 3 edition is the only ones found with it and its $399.
If you're limit is 349 then I will give you some information below on how to find an Xbox with a Falcon. I'm sure it will be a pain in the ass b/c as I said I'm not sure on how they're rolling out the Falcons, but maybe even ask somebody at Gamestop who knows.

Based on the info in this thread, A Falcon model Xbox 360 MUST BE:
1. Lot #0734 (Halo 3) or later (all SKUs) (So far only Halo 3 Lot 0734 consoles have been found with 65nm)
2. Manufactured on or after 8/24/07
3. Team FDOU (Other teams may be Falcon as well, but none have been reported)
How to find Lot and Team info:
There is a white sticker on the side of the box with the lot # and team. In order to find the manufacturing date without opening the box, there is a flap on the side of the box that allows you to peek inside and see the manufacturing date on the console itself.
Don't go cheap, buy the good one.

Honestly, I haven't talked to anyone that bought the cheaper version so I can't really speak to the differences it makes.
But I do know that I haven't had any problems with mine and since Halo 3 came out last week I've been playing on the thing damn near non-stop.

The only thing that sucks with me buying that Halo 3 version is that I won't be able to play Halo because those role playing games make me sick...
