Campaigns are cutting out the press more and more. They have the internets.

The problem is that it we rely on reporters to do the investigating that we can't.

Maybe they are just waiting for the initial media shock and slander to take it's course. She won't get a fair shake in the media until they realize how stupid they (the media) were anyway.

Regardless of why the McCain campaign is keeping her out of the media circuit, they are just building expectations and frustration within the media. The journalistic backlash will be that much harsher the longer they keep her hidden.

Why won't they?

As Spurs fans I can't believe nobody sees the CIA nature of the situation:

1) Have a staffer say she won't be on any of the Sunday talk shows.
2) Wait for Obama to start calling it out and questioning why she won't go.
3) Mcain camp challenges Obama on his promise of additional town hall debates.
4) Mcain gets the additional debates and Palin goes on the Sunday talk shows (which they knew she could handle out of the gates anyways).

If Obama doesn't call it out...no big deal. THey trot her out on the shows in a week or two.

Nope. Even the GOP talking heads admit that it's because she's not ready. The funny thing is that they say it like it's no big deal -"Well it's better that the media is upset than have her make a mistake."
