so does mav fan acknowledge that terry is a dirty player with a bad at ude?
do they like him more for it? or think that it reflects poorly on the team? it seems like they are avoiding the subject despite their numerous posts.

    Terry should have been tossed.

Bowen trip?....I would have called travelling on Terry for falling down while possessing the ball.

If Mike Bibby was to do that, spurfan would just say it was a hard aggressive foul. That's all that would be said about it. If a Mav player does it, it gets a handful of threads dedicated to it. I'm pretty sure there were a few threads devoted to the clothesline Dirk put on AK last year in the spur section. You guys claim to not care about such an irrelevant franchise, but you sure do pay alot of attention to them.

The way flagrants are called now it's hard to say this should not have been one. Terry made no play at the ball and tackled Tony.

If he had actually tried to go for the ball while he was tackling him then I think it wouldn't have been a flagrant. In other words, it was a flagrant because Terry was stupid, not because he was being outright violent.

    What are rivalries for?

I hate Jason Terry. What an emotional freak.

I cannot help but kinda like that Puerto Rican leprechaun guy on the Mavs. What was his name... Barrea??? I can see why Mavs fans think this guy s rainbows.

But it's never the Mike Bibby's of the world who make those plays. It's the Jason Terry's of the world who ALWAYS do.

Not even gonna bother reading through 7 pages of you guys getting owned by JET.

It was a Flagrant One, he was going for the ball and got Parker's head instead. Get the over it you whiny pansy es.

What's funny as is that F1 extended it to a 2nd overtime: he lets Parker score the layup that's two points. Between the 2 FTs and the possession, the Spurs got 1 point.

LOL @ bitter Mav-fan finding his only victory in Terry's horsecollar tackle on Tony Parker.

Bitter???? It was a ridiculously entertaining game. The Mavs are at best a sixth seed and another first-round exit. I've made peace with that.

Seven pages of whining over an F1. If it were Michael Redd that had committed that foul, you guys wouldn't have started a thread.

Yeah but Michael Redd doesn't have the same history with the Spurs as Terry does so that comparison is irrelevant.

And...as previously stated, it's never the Micheal Redd's and Mike Bibby's of the world who commit those fouls. , it's never even the Dirk Nowitski's or the DeSegana Diop's either...it's Jason Terry. He is what he is.

You are such a homer. JET is a damn good player. And now you know how we feel about Bowen - from our perspective he's a nozzle on the court but by all accounts a classy guy off it. The same applies to JET.

Actually you are wrong. Michael Redd would have been proclaimed the anti-Christ for having the temerity to put his hands on a Spur.

Point is, no matter what team board you are on, you will always find someone ready to lynch an opponent whenever they get physical with a member of the home team.
