Honestly, the team needs some help and the rest of the league is adjusting to us right now, hence no blowouts lately. Also, it's December, so let's chill until the next episode....
The Lakers aren't that good and they won't be able to get away with this playing from behind stuff much longer...

I really wish the Lakers had lost this one (and the past few games they played) because quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of them playing down to the level of their compe ion.
I dunno if it's PJ's lackadasical demeaner or what but ever since he got here the Lakers have been winning but it's never the convincing "I just kicked your ass...what are you going to do about it?" kinda win but rather "damn,the Lakers stole that game from us" kinda win.
This has to stop.

I really don't care about the Spurs fans, the Suns fan, Nuggets fans, etc, etc thinking their teams are going to kick our butts. If they are thinking that, they must be delusional because if they follow the Lakers closely (even last year's surprising run) they ALWAYS play at the level of their compe ion and they just seem to do enough to beat the team put in front of them...until they run into a really tough team mentally prepared and then the 30, 40 point blowout happens to them.
They ain't gona win jack until they break this habit.
Don't fool yourself into thinking they will have it straightened out by the time the playoffs start.
They'll make short work of the Spurs and New Orleans but they won't get past Boston or Detroit.. they're not even going to get past Cleveland with their current at ude.

The spurs/Hornets are not physical and won't push the Lakers around like some of the Eastern team does.
What's delusional is actually thinking the Spurs will win in a seven game series against the Lakers being a year older than the last time they met...umm in which the Lakers beat the spurs. (yeah yeah..Manu was not healthy..they shot poorly...blah blah blah)

But as of right now, I like their chances against any Western Conference teams despite their lackadasical play.
And I only say that because there are no teams in the WC that really bruise you.
Yeah, this is MY opinion only but the Spurs will need to make a couple of moves before they can really contend for the le again.
The Hornets are not what they were last year. Rest of the league has got them figured out and that makes it harder for them to win than they did last year.
Suns will implode. Do you have any doubts with Shaq Fu on that team?

Only team on the West that scares me are the Nuggets. They are brash enough to think they can win the le and that sort of team scares me.
I hope the Spurs will be there at the end.
