I hate Chris Paul and David West. Whining es. Paul always gets the calls and whatever he sells the dumb refs buy. I don't hate the Hornets organization or their fans, but those two assholes ... em.

Chris Paul is an egotistical maniac. He's not only a huge instigator and asshole, but he's a terrible sport. It won't be soon till he gets away with more than Kobe or D-Wade who right now get away with the most.

Regarding the thread, Chris Fall is undoubtedly the best inch for inch player on the planet. He's annoying but I can't hate him. He certainly hasn't reached a Kobe level of ness.
Paul is a great player I just wish he wouldn't flop as much because it makes him come off as a and cheapens his game.

You guys are pathetic. Flopping trails only Tim Duncan in the reason you guys have won championships. I forgot about your goons as well. You guys wouldn't know the word class if you were in school. Phoenix had you guys beat and horry checks steve nash for no reason is a perfect example of what the spurs represent. You guys want to actually purposely hurt Chris Paul? really? Grow up! I'm not a fan of Tim Duncan, but I would never wish harm to him. If you don't like CP, thats fine, but at least give an arguement with some substance. Yea, the call at the end was questionable and could have easily gone either way. Well, it didn't go your way this time! We were down 3 of our top 6 guys and we beat yall. Its just a regular season game, not the playoffs anyway. You guys are so amazingly deep this year, you should only be worrying about the players' health and the playoffs at this point.

I've never seen such a useless post. This is a Spurs forum. If you don't like what you hear GET OUT and shut up. I did not say that I wished him harm. All I said was that in the 80's if he tried this flopping he could have probably gotten laid out. Jordan got hammered for being good so I can't image how Paul would have been treated for some of his flops.

Also, Horry has already explained that Phoenix incident and his explanation was good enough for me. Steve Nash flopped and made it look a lot worse than it is so he is the one responsible for his team mates getting suspended. If Nash didn't act like he was hit by a cannon ball his team mates probably would have never been suspended. That's pretty much all on Nash and his acting. I guess you don't realize this since you've been watching Chris Paul for too long.

What I don't like about playing the Hornets is that Paul and Parker don't get treated the same. Paul seems to get a lot more calls in his favor for flopping touch fouls. If TP or anyone else on the Spurs got the same calls that Paul does then I have no problem with it because then it will even out.

I don't like CP3's flop, but I admited that he is so clever to quickly try a three when he was fouled. I think if Manu is in that situation,he will also try his best to win three freethrow attempts. It helps to win, so why not?
But I do think the spurs didn't play their full strength, it should be a win.
The refs will never give that call to manu plain and simple is not in the NBA best interest

I graduated from Wake Forest, so for me to say this about Chris Paul is quite a big deal.

But after seeing the last quarter of last night's Hornets/Spurs game, it's obvious that Chris Paul gets as many calls as anybody else in the NBA game. In fact, so much so that he makes any game he's playing in unwatchable. His gesticulations on every play easily outdo Peyton Manning. In fact, it's so exagerated that I can only think that he's trying to diagram in sign language exactly how the refs can get away with giving him another borderline call, but nobody else understands that's what he's doing because it's in sign language.

He gets 99% of not only the calls that involve him, but at least 95% of ALL calls in the game. And on the 1% that he doesn't get, the pouty fight he puts up is enough to get him his own sitcom on the Disney Channel sandwiched between The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana. He's beyond unwatchable.

It's not even basketball with him...it's like watching Fidel Castro play t-ball against Cuba's version of the Short Bus All-Stars. By the way, just a hunch, but I'd put my money on Fidel.

The NBA version of Chris Paul has all the senses of en lement of every Duke player all rolled up into one package, which has been stuffed into the Hornets' jersey of Chris Paul. He is the embodiment of a punk in every sense of the word. I just wish that he were a tenth as good as the League gives him credit for being.

What Chris Paul is really great at is not PG, it's PR. He's his own Madison Avenue firm. He made sure he befriended LeBron (and every other top player in the NBA game that is his age), so that he could be a member of the new NBA Rat Pack. His game is nowhere near the level of LeBron's or Wade's, yet because he's constantly making sure the cameras catch him hanging with them, he's a great player by association.

Do not be fooled by this tool. He's the Peter Lawford of the Rat Pack. He's not Dean Martin, he's not Sinatra, and he's not Sammy Davis. He's not even Joey Bishop.

I disagree. And I hate Paul as much as anyone.

He is just one of those guys who is going to do everything he can to win, whether its legal or not. He is going to push the rules as far as he can.

Its actually like Jordan in that way. Clearly he isn't nearly as good or accomplished as Jordan, but one of the things that made Jordan so great is that he wanted to win so badly, he was willing to be a complete asshole to do it. And remember, fans of teams other than the Bulls hated Jordan and accused him of getting away with murder (the push off on his shot to win the 98 Finals as the first that comes to mind) while also having his opponents get called for everything. Again, Paul isn't as good as Jordan and probably never will be, but he has that same fight in him -- it makes him a great compe or but also makes him hated by everyone not on his team.

And we Spurs fans should understand that a little bit. For years, Bowen was the same way. Derided around the league as dirty, he pushed the limit and did all those little things to gain every advantage he could. We loved him for it, and everyone else hated him. That's they way it goes.

We played you guys in one series and the spurs took it in 7. Trust me, I DO NOT want to play you guys in the playoffs. The depth of the spurs is very scary, esp in the playoffs. However, that series came down to the last 2 minutes of game 7, and you guys won that series by experience and hustle, and deserved it. The spurs are my least fav team, but I respect them a whole lot, and hornetsreport.com doesn't start a I hate (Spurs player) thread. This thread is full of posts by people who want chris paul to be hurt physically. That's sick! BTW, blind homerism is basing my whole opinion on one post before ASSuming my answers on questions that havent been asked, like if I thought Cp flopped, which he does.

First off, I do NOT want Chris Paul to get hurt. No matter how much I hate a player, I would never want anyone to get hurt..that's just wrong. But I have seen CP3 intentionally hurt a LOT of people. And you can throw Bowen in there all you want, but Bowen has never punched someone in the testicles purposely, as CP3 has done twice. He's a very dirty player coming off screens, as well as in the lane. No one ('cept maybe Kobe) pushes off more than CP3, and he gets away with EVERYTHING..it's very frustrating. We're venting. But I would NEVER wish injury to a player..no matter how angry I am at the moment.
