He's shooting 42% from the field. Is it because he doesn't finish well in the paint?
son I guess it is a good thing that the mavericks did pull this thing out, or else Jason Kidd's girlfriend would have took a good beating tonight.

LOL nice attempt at a comeback after getting called out and owned son .... one year wonder? yet we will still finish ahead of your boys in blue! Its funny, the mavs have damn near all the money in the world with their owner, yet they still can't buy a championship LMAO. get ready to be eliminated in the 1st round YET AGAIN
57 wins and the 2 seed to what, 50 wins and at best the 6th seed? And your owner tried to trade away your starting center for some jockstraps and adhesive tape? Yeah, the Hornets dynasty died in the crib.
He doesn't shoot many 2 pointers or anything in the immediate basket area but when he does get layups he's a pretty bad finisher, actually one of the worst in the league statistically.
Cmon don't you watch the Mavs![]()
findog son you need a good slap ... I would love to assist.
I don't know why he doesn't post up the opposing guard more- he's got size on most of them. When Kidd is aggressively posting up, kicking it out to the shooters (like the recent Suns game) the team doesn't have as many offensive droughts.
I see.
Yeah, I mostly focus on the Hornets and Rockets and whatever national game is on, even with my online NBA pass except for any decent game on. Even have less time with baseball season.
I would let Kidd post CP3 all day long. No need to double and leave Terry and Howard wide open. Can't afford to double Dirk either.
He's not that bad at finishing. Last season he got to the rim in many games and converted. They even said they need to try that more.
The hornets indeed were a 1 year wonder
2004 Wolves
2005 Sonics
2006 Clippers
2007 Warriors (eh not really, just venting)
2008 Hornets
I was pretty vocal on other boards about how I felt the Hornets were a 1 year wonder. No way were they as good as they looked last year. They capitalized on a declining discombobulated Dallas team in the 1st round then came back down to Earth in the final 5 games v the Spurs when their jump shooting died. I kept thinking it was a team that just hit a few shots, and it was.
Every year has its 1 year wonder. Last year they were projected as a 40 win team 8/9 seed, yet they won 56, hence people being tricked in the off season into thinking its achampionship contender.
More or less they're a 45-47 win team this year that's had extremely good luck in close games. They may get to 50 due to the luck.
You just have to sit down and look at the names on the roster. Peja? Chandler? Butler? Posey? Armstrong? West? Yeah.... this is not a championship team, nor a contending team. This is a 45 win team, and is playing like they SHOULD'VE been expected to.
I hate watching against Jason Terry. He's an asshole.
Just got back from the game, great win. J-Ho from 2 years ago once again re-appeared. CP-Cheat and his flopping ass. Mavs dominated from start to finish except for a few minutes in the 4th...but it who cares Mavs win, Jazz lose, off to NO on sunday.
Back to Josh.
His energy on the court has been great since coming back, and if you recall, was pretty good after the All STar break before he got hurt.
I'm starting to think maybe it isn't a fluke and the old J-Ho has to some extent returned.
Hope he can keep it up. Adds another dimension to our team , we don't win ANY games with Dirk/JET going 13-35 without J-Ho
We need this J-Ho for the playoffs and to continue to build up his trade value for this summer
dude, ghazi, our defense killed us in the Spurs series. Plus, they adjusted and put Parker on CP3 and made CP3 do the scoring. Also, West and Chandler injured themselves in the Game 5 blowout victory rendering them ineffective the final two games.
Bass was the MVP of this game the way he ted on the Hornets front court in the 2nd quarter was awesome. Mavs shot 5-23 in the 2nd and without him Hornets could have gained control of the game
2006 Clippers would have given 2006 Mavs a run for their money. A fluke shot by Raja Bell avoided that matchup. Dallas had no answer for Brand down low. Cassell and Livingston were strong at the point. Kaman > Dampier.
LOL son you ing dumb ass ... you do realize that Dirk is on your team right? the true king of all FLOPS??? .... you are whining about Paul going to the line, but your boy Dirk makes his living at the free throw line.
stfu....
Spurs shot 39% and only had 91 points in game 7 and still won, because Hornets couldn't manufacture offense when their jumpers were not falling.
That's what happens when you have only one ballhandler, 2 players who can create their own shot, and a bunch of aging jump shooters who don't attack the basket.
Rebounding was difference of the game. You guys got alot of second chance points.
Don't be mad about my 2006 Clippers comment. You know its true.
find me a Dirk video that resembles this flopping , then ill agree with you
