spur fans need to make up their mind. who cares about your "relevance" when it didn't bring you les? should we be impressed by the spurs losing to the lakers, then the mavs, then the lakers again, then the mavs again? only thing that matters are les(and to some degree, runner ups). all this smack talk is pointless until the season starts. spurs and lakers fans have no idea how this new and improved spurs will match up against the lakers. i do know that the spurs have plugged every major hole evident in the 2008 series. lack of youth, athelticism, bench, offense, proper bigman to play alongside duncan, and the lack of a backup pg are all solved this year.
Lakerfan will continue to punch-slap and scream with his eyes closed for another 3 months until the season starts. Then they will mix in some googled basketball talk every 20 or 30 posts.
