I'm fully aware of your attempt to "shed light" on the hypocrisy of it all, and I suppose, in the grand scheme of things, it's a valid point.
However, the egregiousness of the action is what's being touched on here. Moreover, that "attention " culture that you allude to doesn't have NEARLY the same reach and exposure as Kanye on a daily basis...and to my knowledge, the "whoring" general public has yet to develop any type of medium that could thoroughly embarrass someone, live, on national television.
