I watched it, but it was for babies

    The temperatures weren't that low

The 1st winter classic in Edmonton (Oilers vs Canadiens), now that's what you call childhood memories

It was -50 C that day

    Jose Theodore wore a tuque

But yeah, Flyers-Bruins was still great to watch:

    - Fenway Park
    - 1st winter classic fight ever
    - Bruins coaches wearing the old hats
Some of my friends went to the college game on the 8th (BU/BC, I went to BU) and said it was a blast, but one of the most miserable experiences in the world between periods because of the cold (was colder + plus at night, then the Bruins/Flyers game).

If it can make them feel any better, I thought I lost my feet during the 2009 NHL All-Star weekend in Montreal, waiting outside the Bell Center to get autographs from the Western All-Stars

    It was -30 degrees C.

So it's not a winter classic unless it's minus degrees?

    According to Canadian standards, no

Thanks God the ice didn't melt or break in Boston; I was picturing Daniel Briere drowning, it wasn't preety

    Did you change your screenname?

They have been on a hot streak though

Plus, look closely at the standings between the 8th and last in the East, the points differential is not that high.

Last night on the Habs post game show, Marinaro said that ''Bob Gainey was close'' when referring to landing Kovalchuk and the deal with New Jersey.

Darren Dregger reported the same and said ''Montreal is one of the eastern conference teams with New Jersey that are in it'' on That's Hockey at 7:00 PM.

It seems like Gainey was close when it came to Hossa, Arnott, Briere, Lecavalier, Kovalchuk (at the draft and now), The Sedin's and others.

OMG major choke by Toronto vs NJ

I'm glad I watched the last 4 minutes

Leafs had a 3-1 lead with 4 minutes to go, I expected Rip-Hamilton to come here and post: " hey, Brodeur played this time, muahahahahaha ! "

3 goals for NJ in the last 4 minutes.

    Game over
