Horns offense needs to get Shipley going, like Drachen said. Hit him with some quick slants or a WR screen to at least get him involved.
The Alabama D is very fast and tends to overpursue, so misdirection stuff can work very well. I would also throw in a few QB draws. Bama ends are getting too deep and leaving lot's of space up the middle.

Regardless of what happens today, I am not confident about the near term future of UT football due to the QB situation.
They need to open up the play book. I know you want to make sure you get your QB in rhythm, but this is the time to go for it.

Texas needs to run the out of the ball. You can't open up the playbook with a green QB against a defense like that.

I think Colt's got a broken bone in the shoulder area. Possibly shoulder blade, or maybe a rib high up in the back. I don't think it's his rotator cuff.

We dont have running game, and we have been running it. This was the first possession that they allowed gilbert to throw.

You will not win a game like that. They are going to have to put up points. This defense cannot hold. Worst thing you can do against a good defense is become one dimensional and predictable.
