Brad go tell Colt to suck it the up!

Honestly, it must be a pretty bad injury, I know he wouldn't stay out if it wasn't.
I wonder if it's the type of injury that could change the course of his NFL career.

UT D has to continue to hold. This game is on them.

Horns offense needs to get Shipley going, like Drachen said. Hit him with some quick slants or a WR screen to at least get him involved.

The Alabama D is very fast and tends to overpursue, so misdirection stuff can work very well. I would also throw in a few QB draws. Bama ends are getting too deep and leaving lot's of space up the middle.

That ain't no shoulder injury for McCoy.

Dude put his helmet square into his ribs.
They've been calling it a shoulder injury.
I didn't see it, but the quote above was the answer I got when I logged on.

Regardless of what happens today, I am not confident about the near term future of UT football due to the QB situation.

They need to open up the play book. I know you want to make sure you get your QB in rhythm, but this is the time to go for it.

Everyone said shoulder injury. Colt's shoulder was sagging when he pulled himself out of the game.

Texas needs to run the out of the ball. You can't open up the playbook with a green QB against a defense like that.

Bubble screens, quick slants and run the ball. A lot.

Need your D to make a play for you.

Same. I haven't seen anything out of Gilbert to give me confidence in UT next season. Now would be the time to unleash his talents...but Greg Davis is a moron.

it kind of looked like he got a bloody nose on the hit. but they don't take x-rays for bloody noses so i'm sure it's pretty serious.

I think Colt's got a broken bone in the shoulder area. Possibly shoulder blade, or maybe a rib high up in the back. I don't think it's his rotator cuff.

We dont have running game, and we have been running it. This was the first possession that they allowed gilbert to throw.

Defense sucked that time! Allowed the jackass to run 49 yards for TD! Disgraceful!

You will not win a game like that. They are going to have to put up points. This defense cannot hold. Worst thing you can do against a good defense is become one dimensional and predictable.

The Horns defense doesn't have an answer to the run.

oh what could have been. good game tide.

If they want to run the ball that's fine, but they better take a few deep shots first. Newton isn't good enough to break through an 8 man box
