    Indeed.

Good point. You're right, 'ripping' probably isn't the word for it. Critical is probably a more accurate depiction.
    raising the bar?

Manu has always given the Spurs everything he's got and his body has suffered from it. He plays with passion and intensity matched by few. Whenever he's been critical of himself and the teams play, it's been because he wants the Spurs to be better and win. As a lifelong Spurs fan, I'm feel lucky to have him on the team.
In this interview he only states his desire to stay with the team and win another championship here. He also says he understands it's "big business" for the FO to resign him, and has never made "veiled" to them in the press. He's too much of a class act for that.

I take exception to suggestions that Manu's season has "bordered on terrible" or that "he's consistently playing like ."

The only part of his game that is struggling is the scoring. Granted, that's a big part, but still, he has compensated for his FG struggles by being more of a playmaker, and he still impacts games with big steals, rebounds (like a couple offensive boards today), hustle plays, whatever. Plus, he's already admitted on his forum that he's saving something in the tank for the important part of the season.

The last thing he wants to do is go balls out in January and get injured again and miss the playoffs and also kill his value in a contract year. I think he learned that lesson in '08.

The point is that even when Manu is struggling to score, he still finds ways to impact games and make a contribution.

I won't name names, but the Spurs have a star who is a major liability when he's not scoring because he does literally nothing else to help the team.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but from what I've read, that hasn't been the case.

Constantly and I've already answered twice "when" he ripped the team. My definition would be his constantly harping on the defense, lack of consistency, etc. For the umpteenth time, I have no problem with that in theory, but at some point shouldn't the player in question be playing well before expounding on the teams issues?

'Comun'? 'Proofs'? For future reference, it's common and proof. The word proof is akin to the word beaver. For example, it doesn't matter if you're talking about 50 beaver, it's still beaver, as opposed to beavers.

    I didn't avoid anything, genius. I said...

Just listen to his post-game and post-practice comments.

I've just told you when they happen and you can now add his Spanish (unless his words are being lost in translation?) interviews to that.

Hi "genius". I´m glad we finally agree that you didn´t bring any proof to say "Manu is ripping".
