When Kidd guarded Miller, Miller just toyed with him. It was like JJ Barea trying to guard Michael Jordan. When Marion guarded him Andre hit a three pointer (he shoots 19% on those) and a ing hook shot.
Rick put Marion on him way to late in the game. Andre was already on fire. It all comes back to Rick.
You might be right. Marion is out of his element by having to guard point guards though. He might have the speed but his balance isn't as good and Miller was still getting open shots due to that. And I've given Kidd enough grief lately. The other players need some blame as well.

this was a amazing win.. we lost 3 in a row against quality teams and looked to be on the downward spiral that seemed to be in the horizon.. this win was huge against the mavs without roy.. batum may not of had a crazy stat night but was key in helping with dirk.. and andre was unbelieveable.. the tough schedule continues until all star break. if we can stay afloat this crazy western conf. till roy is back i think we can have a chance at making the playoffs. exciting game tonight dallas fans
Indeed, your players got heart man, congrats on the win. Miller was playing out of his mind tonight no matter who was guarding him. Truly an awesome display. He was so good, I wish Brandon Roy had been playing so he hadn't gotten so many shots. Can't wait for the next match-up.

Marion used to guard PGs back in Phoenix instead of Nash. I remember Marion routinely guarding TP and CP3 because Nash was a on defense.
