Because there is no other "PG."
If we score 100 we win. If we don't we lose.
Because there is no other "PG."
Air Blair at the line needs a little more air in the ball.
Blair vs Davis is an interesting matchup.
Celtics up 4 after one
Spurs shooting 32%, but only down 4.
Either they can continue to hang around, or they'll be down 15+ at halftime at this rate.
Glad Rondo didn't make that, yeesh. Down by 4 at the end of 1, slow game so far.
going to need another 30+ night from manu with duncan looking bad again. bad sign
The public is better, but that's all.
College referees are particularly bad when compared to the NBA ones. No star calls my ass. There are star calls for players, coaches and programs.
I can do 2 Fouls in 32 seconds, no problem at all with that.
Somebody has to defend Pierce..Centerpiece needs to step up, this is a matchup where he actually might have the advantage in quickness/athleticism..Pierce has only used his size on 1 of his successful plays, that shouldn't be happening..
Duncan really, really has to do something offensively for the Spurs to win..encouraging that we're only down 4 with this shooting, but Duncan MUST do ANYTHING positive offensively..
Jefferson needs to step up offensively, since it doesn't look like we're going to get much from Duncan tonight offensively and McDyess (or should I call him stone hands? This guy makes Mohammed look like he has good hands) needs to start making wide open mid-range jumpers with a degree of consistency, something he had no trouble doing for years with the Pistons but all of a sudden can't do with the Spurs.
Maybe I'm too much of an optimist, but I sort of feel better about games when the Spurs start out sluggish and then claw their way into the game. It seems that much of the time when they start out strong they fizzle in the second half.
Pop's approach with Hairston still confuses me some. He puts him in at the end of quarters for an offensive/defensive subs ution, so he must regard his defense at least relatively highly. However, despite Pop's preaching of defense first, Malik still gets few minutes. Are his offensive rookie mistakes really bad enough to keep him off the court? I'm not really whining or anything, just trying to comprehend it a little more. If anyone has any insights, let me know.
I didn't say college ball was better, but it's much more active compared to this sleep-walking game.
Spurs with another quarter unable to score, can't break 20 pts.
duncan scared perkins?
Ginobili and 1, good start to the quarter.
What was that mess???![]()
Nice job Bonner on Davis
This is good defense.
