Mahinmi has to play with more aggression and purpose. There were a couple of plays where he easily could have blocked a shot and instead either stood in to take the charge or didn't even bother challenging the shot. If he's going to be a player in this league, it'll be as a Noah/McGee type center.
Spurs should be blowing this open. Grizzlies don't have a single credible perimeter scorer in the game; in fact, they only have one above average player in the game. Pop is overdoing it with resting Duncan and McDyess. If they'd have come back in for the last five minutes, maybe the Spurs maintain or build on their lead. All he's doing is making it so that they'll have to potentially play extended second half minutes.
