tbh, Vampire Weekend should be one of your favorites. Both albums with high pitchfork reviews, tbh.
True. I just don't like them.

I only heard a couple songs and never gave them much attention.
Thom jacks off to Contra though.
tbh, I like a select few of their songs like Ottoman. Most of it I'll pass on tbh.
pitchfork is a really ty site tho, tbh.
I do like the production skills of Mannie Fresh but the rest of that you can pretty much dump that in the garbage ....... really shows you that hip hop is really dead.
Mannie Fresh always had some great beats. But when he tried to rap with that "everything real big" song, it was embarrassingly bad.
So their Debut album wasn't that good brah? If all they're songs are like Horchata, I'll pass.
dude should just stay behind the boards and play with the switches and dials because it's obvious he knows what he's doing. When he attempts to raps, sounds like he gargling in his mouth.
I've only heard a few off the debut. Contra is decent. Ottoman isn't on either tho.
I'm not a real fan of Vampire Weekend just so y'all know...but Give up the Gun is probably the only track I have of them in my collection.
BTW, IM...is the rumor true that Radiohead is almost done with their latest album? I read that somewhere, but I doubt we'll see anything from them until 2011 at the earliest.
Ed said he felt they were close, but he said he doesn't know. They took a break from recording and are likely going back to the studio some time in August.
I think it's going to be out around October or January. Nigel Goodrich said he think it will be out in 2011, but who knows. Ed and Phil have always been the optimists of the band.
That is true...Hopefully, they'll be another tour in SoCal when the album drops. Their show @ the Hollywood Bowl (2nd night I believe...when Thom had his red pants on) was one of the best shows I have ever been to.
Thom wore red pants through practically all of the post-IR tour. It'd be my first Radiohead concert. I plan on going to both nights in LA and catching the Anaheim show.
I think he only wore it for the last night @ the Hollywood Bowl if I remember what my friend told me. Either way, it was an epic show and I was a last minute go as my friend had a spare ticket. I wasn't a huge Radiohead fan prior to that--but I became sold on their brilliance after that.
Getting somewhat back on-topic, I really wish that Big Baby Davis could play two great games in a row together. Doc Rivers called him on it after his Shrek game, and he couldn't produce. I like Big Baby, but he needs to work on his conditioning and finding a way not to get blocked under the basket, whether it be through pumpfakes-to-get-fouled or just powering up and over.
tongue licking thing was friggin hilarious!
First thing i saw and sounds like he is using a cheap ass battery operated stereo from Walmart![]()
