If Paul can make ariza an All-star ... with Durant, Melo and Rudy Gay healthy at his position than CP3 REALLY IS the best PG in the NBA hands down ...

What an awesome day in Rocket land.

Morey corrects his mistakes very fast.

Ariza was not needed, we had 4 NBA quality SFs.....and only one SG.

Now we got Lee to backup Martin and saved about $5 million in cap space and the rest of Trevors' contract.

Also, Ariza had issues in the locker room, sort of a punk.

    Oh well....see ya later alligator.

Wow. Ariza has morphed into a journeyman player rather quickly. Already his fifth team.

I like Trevor and would gladly take him back as a Laker, but I think it's fair to say his abilities were overrated. Can be a very good role player though. What he did in the 09 playoffs was fantastic for LA.

You are welcome to post an interview from Hornets GM Dell Demps. In fact I welcome hearing what the other side has to say about getting Ariza and trading away a premier guard in Collison. Or what Marco Bellini brings to the table for you guys when you traded away Julian Wright.

The Pacers are negotiating a buyout with T.J. Ford's agent on the $8.5 million owed the point guard this season, league sources tell Y!.
Have the Mavs picked up the option on Barea's contract yet? If not this would be a great, cheap pickup for a backup PG.

Ariza to Y! on Hornets: "I want to win and help them win. I want to be an All-Star there."
Bahahahahahaha. Still with the delusions of grandeur, eh Trevor?

I wish I could say I'll miss watching you futilely attempt to dribble with all the skillfulness and dexterity of a newborn baby antelope, but I can't. Good luck son.

Look if the Rockets believe in Ariza they would not have traded him to a division rival.

The dude came into Houston with a massive "I am the star" at ude and tried to lead.

He got his crap slapped back in his face by our new leader Aaron Brooks, and he didn't like it.

    Wah wah wah....

Don't let the door knob hit ya where the good lord split ya !

Not to mention we already had Chase Budinger who is better than Trevor already and learning the defensive side from Shane Battier.....Trevor would not have reacted well to a significantly reduced role which is where he was headed.

This trade was a great one for the Rockets......it was better for the team on the floor now, and it freed up cap room and kept expiring contracts to go after someone else at the trade deadline if they want to.

A win trade for Houston, and for Trevor too, as he goes to a team with a superstar player in CP3 and can fade back into the background as a role player where he belongs.

He will clearly be behind CP3 and West in the pecking order, and can flourish there.....

    A good trade for everyone.

I think this trade helps everyone. Ariza will flourish with CP3, West, Okafor, and Marcus "the microwave" Thornton. I really like this move. I will pull for the pacers more now b/c of collison. He now has the keys to his own team, and I wish him nothing but the best.

Okafor and Ariza both suck. And we're stuck with them for 4 more years. At least the World Cup will be back by then.

Seriously, this guy is garbage. It's so obvious watching him how worthless he really is. Dude has no game other than dunking. He can play defense, but we could have been more patient and let Pondexter develop who has more skills than Ariza. Now we're banking out future on two guys in Okafor and Ariza who are role players and have no offensive game whatsoever.

Ahh remember when people used to talk about Okafor and Dwight Howard in the same breathe. They used to call them carbon copies of each other. Oh how the times have changed.

Why does Okafor suck so much anyway? I've never understood it, he's a very talented player but he's underachieved pretty much his whole career in the league.

We have 2 deep at every position, if Yao is healthy we are top 3 in the WC.

I'm really excited to see what Patrick Patterson can bring to the table. Not trying to get too high on him yet, but I think he has star potential.

It seems you have yet to get the reason why on earth we made the quadrilateral trade. umm... Before the trade we got a payroll as high as 81 million, which would result in about 10 m luxury tax. We managed to trim about 8 m off the book through the trade but I can hardly find any upgrade to our squad the trade brought about.

ahhh... man, Les must have played a heavy role urging Morey to make this trade. among the 4 teams we were the only side that made this trade for the simple purpose of financial relief.
