BUT a friend of mine lived in Turkey for a 6 months and said that turkish people are AWFUL on average when it comes to personal hygiene-especially sweat and reusing sweaty clothes.

She basically said that they use tons of parfume to cover up the bad smell. I wasn't in Turkey myself so I can't confirm what she said-can anyone else?

There are stinky donkeys everywhere in the world. I've spent two months in Turkey and there some smelly turkish people but not in a different proportion than in France or Brazil or USA.

BTW I honestly doubt Granger ever smelled a dead donkey in his life...
