There is no backpedaling here. I pointed out that the Hornets have had more wins vs predicted playoff teams and who have a good record last season against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Hornets and the Lakers have had 2 completely separate scenarios to start the season. Until the Lakers actually start to play against legit compe ion away from home, there is no comparison. The Hornets are better now.

What a year in sports! My National League team, the San Francisco Giants, denied the TexASS Rangers and their clogged artery fans from winning the World Series. Now we have the Lakeshow absolutely rolling, led by God's favorite son Kobe Bryant.

They should just cancel the season, really. I'm a Lakers fan, which means I'm not much of a basketball fan, so why do I want to watch 70 some more meaningless games? As one of Hollywood's top film producers, who rubs elbows with the rich and famous and wheels and deals like a mother er, I don't have the time to sit in front of the TV and watch the Lakers beat down some no-name team.

Let's get to the Finals already. Kobe will get his 6th and notch himself as the greatest player of all-time, while we Lakers fans will brag about it like we personally accomplished it.
