Went to a D-League game in Frisco and saw him play against the Texas Legends. I don't remember too much about him on the defensive end, but he definitely has an NBA ready offensive game and is 100% a better player at this point in their careers than Udoka.

Really looks like a nice signing - he is seemingly more mature than many in the Dleague and has been impressive 2 years in a row there.

Yeahh I hope he gets a few trash minutes. I think he can prove that he deserves a place on the team if he's given a chance. Won't get rotation minutes this year, but trades happen, signing happen, and there's always future years.

There's NO WAY he's 6'7". He looked only slightly taller than George when they were talking during a dead ball, maybe 6'5". Let the complaining begin.

He's legit. His wingspan is ridiculous as well...

Dude, you are wrong about literally everything when it comes to player evals. It is mind blowing how someone can watch something and see things the way you do.

Yeah, so is George's. Doesn't make him 6'7", either.

The only measurements I trust as gospel are from the NBA pre-draft camp.

I'm telling you, he looked only a little taller than George, and noticably shorter (1"-2") than RJ. He is NOT 6'7".

It's not tough to pick this up on a floor level camera shot during a dead ball.

Well even if he isn't 6'7, he is closer 6'7 than any of the other players the Spurs have signed in the past.

You guys are so hung up on having a player of a certain height. You'd rather have a 6'7" guy with a 5" wingspan than a 6'5" guy with a 7" wingspan.

He looked pretty close to RJ to me. But my seats could be too far away i suppose.

Even taking the angle into account... if Hill is 6'3", Owens is clearly 3 inches taller. Compare the shoulders.

The fact that Owens is significantly less bulky than the rest of the squad he was on the floor with probably contributes to the perception he's shorter. It's also worth pointing out that a sound defensive position is lower to the ground, and he was clearly trying to demonstrate to Pop that he was a defender.

When he tried to drive through the paint right at the end of the 4th, I didn't at all get the impression he looked undersized against JR Smith (and was pretty impressed with his explosiveness/handle even if the play didn't work). Probably won't be with us long, but I liked what I saw in the few odd minutes I watched him.
