Manu's fighting out there, you can see he's tired
Um, Neal is NOT our 3rd PG you numbnut Grizzlies announcer, Quinn is. Neal's a SG.
Manu's fighting out there, you can see he's tired
There's an obscure exception when you're half-black starting point guard is injured...![]()
Put Quinn on the floor, and its back to the business!
they probably read my post. lol.
the defense/rebounding was actually not bad this first quarter despite the 32 pts. Memphis hit a bunch of long range jump shots.
Fantastic use of English (spin) on that last Manu layup.
Quinn looks like he's 12, but damn he sure is a serviceable backup. I feel much more comfortable with the ball in his hands than in Hill's.
defense was total crap in the 1st and we're only down 2
Tiago and Quinn did well
That 3 from Quinn gave some confidence
Down 2 after that. I'll take it. RJ needs to quit the "role player" performance. Hill, yeah.
Need to pick up the D...
Quinn running point > Hill running point in the first quarter
thank our lord and savior Corey Brewer, that we are only down 2 after the 1st.
There's nothing surer than that they will cool off at some stage and go through 7-10 misses in a row from that range. Stats even out in 99% of NBA games.
Duncan and RJ gave us nothing in that quarter. We need something from them if we want to win this one
Hill was giving decent pg minutes last year don't exactly know what happened with him
A lot of people like to diss on Quinn and say he's not an NBA-level player, but as long as he's playing against the other team's second unit he runs the team well, nails the odd open 3, tries hard on D. I like the kid.
I think he doesnt have that much fire from last year. Maybe Pop needs to tell him he's not ready every year.
Certainly about time RJ gave us some big games. He's been very passive since December (with the odd timely play thrown in).
2 times in a row splitter gets killed on the glas
prahps to quinn for stopping the bleeding
