Even in the loss, you saw what makes the Heat so formidable. Great win for okc. Perk, even though his stat line wasn't good, he looked solid. He will help.
But you just get the feeling Wade/Bron have a whole other level. Even Bosh.
Same as the Cavs "owning" the Lakers in 2009 and 2010. What good did that do them? Kobe's been waiting for LeBronze to show up in the Finals for 3 years running...![]()

Still waiting for Lebron to get to a final before I'd consider him great. Has all the physical tools, but....
It takes more than just 3 guys to win a le. You need size, good role players, intangibles, executing in half court, good coaching etc. You act like winning a le is so easy and that just throwing individual talent will do the trick. It takes more than just talent. As a spurs fan, you should know this. They aren't all that good in a half court set either. Take away their transition game, and that O staggers BIGTIME. It turns into 1 on 1 basketball and that style NEVER wins in the playoffs.
Of course, you will say this Heat team is the exception. You think they will breeze right to a le. You think they have the least flaws out of everyone just cuz they have Wade/Bron/Bosh. You think they have already proven themselves as champions. You are a spurs fan, and you are saying it won't take a team effort for this Heat team to win.![]()
You are a walking cliche of basketball takes
Lakers = class
teamwork = championships
NO REBOUNDS, NO RINGS
the triangle = great execution
iso basketball = classless
Kiss the rings
Not concerned about this loss, no sir. The Heat will pick it up in the postseason. Everyone doubted the Celtics last year, the Heat in 2006 and the Pistons in 2004 but in the playoffs their true character showed.
This team is no different. Wade will take command, that I have no doubt, Lebron will closely follow and Bosh will be right there according to plan.
Wade's dunk over Perkins was vicious though. Not as good as the one over Varejao but it was more difficult. Dunk of the year.
That's a common misconception of the fellows hereabouts.
Understandable though to a certain extent:::most have never spent a day in their life.
Rofl that's my favorite fat shirt in Phoenix, where they have 16 rings on the back and on the front it says, "Kiss the rings, !"
Are they mexican? Midnightpulp is interested to know
Using this logic, Gasol should be the 1st option since he's also playing with the worlds greatest chucker/snitch/rapist/diva/ made .
Of course they are. Phoenix's entire hispanic population cheers for the Lakers and has some version of that re ed "Kiss the rings, !" shirt, as if LA's championships were something they accomplished while they used a fake social security number to get welfare.
