Classless team full of classless players, with a classless fan base, cheering for Manu when he was down last night, the guys with the "Go Flop yourself Manu" shirts. Man up and put "Go yourself on the shirt" instead pussies...![]()
Pierce made Kobe his beehatch. Thats the series. You dont disagree with this?
And Fisher, you are happy with his signing for 3 years? Give me a break.

I didn't mean verbally respond to Allen's comments through the media. I meant respond to them with your play on the court. Give a few hard fouls, make it a priority to attack him on defense, jaw at him during the game. You know, send a message let him know that kind of disrespect won't be tolerated. The old Spurs teams used to do this.
And besides, this comment is coming from Tony Allen, the guy who earlier this year said that he is still a Boston Celtic, UNFORTUNATELY right now he's wearing a Memphis uniform....idiot.
Moving goalposts...this argument is about PG's...Pierce made our entire team his in 2008...Ron-Ron fixed that real quick though
As for Fisher, yeah he's unquestionably our weakest link, but I still love having him on the floor in key situations. I'd like a younger, fresher PG for the 1st 3 quarters, but if they have to be weak somewhere, might as well be there. This isn't March madness...a good PG is not a necessity.
That is fact.
Flip the switch.
You watch way too much TBS and ESPN.
The entire year it was not clear if the switch was on or off. Right after the 17-1 all-star break it was clearly on. Then during the 6 game losing streak, its off.
That is so easy and so intellectually dishonest in makes one puke. It was 70 degrees yesterday, because it was 70 degrees yesterday. Thanks for the great insight and ability to predict.
The Lakers looked like entering the playoffs last year, am I wrong?
How'd they end up doing in the playoffs?
Thanks for playing.
What, the, ? You made quite a stretch on that inference that I cannot understand where the connection was made.
If you think SA has a chance against LA (barring significant injuries), then you are deluded and have no credibility. The better front court always wins...unless Michael Jordan is playing
Kobe was and is your PG off guard. You got the best basketball player in the league playing two positions. And its wearing him down. Fisher is really playing a position like Bibby on Miami. Its called the Dont Up spot. And we will cheer when you make another wide open 3.
Fpoonsie that was very CLASSY. So I guess your favorite spur is matt bonner correct?
So you never watched Magic Johnson. Unreal.
Stop it with the broad overstatements, it looks foolish. Especially when you dont know the history of your own team.
So is the switch on for next game against mighty NO or off? Do tell.
This mind-numbing switch crap is for invertebrates.
Magic could play all positions...he was a hybrid player...or did you forget him putting up a triple-double at center as a rookie in Game 6 of the Finals? The Lakers also had the highest scorer of all-time in their front court in the 80's---maybe you remember his name????
You look dumber and dumber with each post. Study your history before you question others on it.
Your team is WEAK. After Duncan, this is your front court: Dice, Blair, Bonner. If you wanna include SF, than Jefferson too
What don't you understand about this?
Here's the better question...are the Hornets a realistic threat to LA? No.
Can the same be said about the Grizzlies-Spurs series?
pgardn was obviously drinking the koolaid this season...so sad to see him fail with each post
Sure Jabbar was at his all-time best when paired with Magic?
Are you fkkn kidding me? How old are you?
You are making stupid overstatements. Magic played point. He handled the ball the majority of almost every game with the great 80's Laker teams. What is a PG?
Why are you on the Spurs site when you dont even know your own team?
I don't think hes faking.....its so clear that manu isn't playing like he usually does cause his arm is still bothering him but still giving alot of effort to help this team out....
You are so ing stupid. You lost all credibilty when you suggested that SA had a chance.
Keep drinking the koolaid son
This is what you resort to when your logic is trounced and you dont know your own team. The best frontline always wins.... except, and except... Jeezzz.
So you say San Antonio has zero chance?
And you make wagers through the mods.
Game on. Answer the question please. A bet is on if we can do it through this board.
I said the best frontline always wins (except for MJ teams), and the nearest example you could come up with is the 80s, where the Lakers more then held their own in the post. You sound desperate. By all means, continue your foolish charade
What do you want to make a bet on? Lakers-Spurs?
I'm game...I'll bet up to $500
Memphis is acting more and more like they have this series wrapped up.
Thats a good thing for the Spurs
