    The only thing this means for us is we get to kick the Lakers out of the first round for a couple of years while we cement our dynasty.

    Then, we'll get to kick them out of the second round a couple of times before Phil retires.

    But he did not truly handle the Shaq and Kobe egos and I won't believe he's a great coach until he takes on rebuilding a team from floor up and makes them win

    This is quite interesting because Phil isn't coming into a ready-made team anywhere near championship level. He's basically taking on a re-building job.

    It's not out of the realm of possibility... It's only a matter of time before the Miami Love subsides and the Shaq Contract Extension (a.k.a. "I expect no less than the full amount of the NBA Salary Cap every year until 2009") talks begin.

    That isn't what happened. Phil wanted to stay, but Buss ran him out of town. Now the Lakers are hiring him back a year later??

    It just goes to show you that Buss didn't know what the he was doing last summer...

    This is really starting to annoy me. Watching Sporscenter I want to see some stuff about tonights game, not about Phil Jackson. Its the Finals!!!!!!!!! I don't care about Shaq, Kobe and Phil. They all lost!!!
