Honestly, I'm already a little emotional about this.
I think they'll do it well. The last couple episodes have done well and have recovered a bit from the trash that was the beginning of the season.
The end is nigh sons.

Yeah, last week's episode was one of the better ones the last couple of years.
I started watching the remaining episodes from 17-22 last night that I hadn't seeing yet.
The farm episode sucked so bad.
The last two seasons were tarnished because of the Andy Bernard saga (imo). As much as I like that guy in everything, including when he first came on the Office, his character just got annoying and was a complete disaster in trying to take over for Michael Scott.
Andy Bernard basically went bat crazy like Jan did. And yes him taking Michael's job was a disaster and joke. Dwight should have taken Michael's job from day 1. Thursday night will be weird without The Office. RIP.
Pretty good for the most part. Carell's intro couldn't have been better imo. Creed and Meredith were perfect as usual. Jim and Pam's story went EXACTLY where I wanted it to go, having them stay there would've been awful. Liked Andy's ending, he was humbled but ended up being happy. Erin's part kinda sucked unless anyone can give a reason she'd automatically assume those people were telling the truth about being her parents?
I thought it was an excellent series finale, and possibly the best episode of the last 2 years. I was expecting complete failure like Seinfeld's finale, but this episode was very funny, and yeah, Carell's role was perfect. It would have been bad to make the final show about him, but it was perfect having Jim sneak him in as the best man at the end. Ryan and Kelly dumping that baby made me laugh like too. The part about Michael having so many kids he needed two phones (with two separate plans) for their pics was pretty good too.
All around a very strong episode worthy of the first 5 seasons.
Good finale but Michael's appearance was too short. The "that's what she said" was classic Michael. I know The Office had been downhill the past couple of seasons but the last few episodes were good including the finale.
As far as series finales go this one is at the bottom of the pile imo.
I didn't really feel emotional or even cared by the end. Michael's appearance saved this finale by just been present.
Besides not feeling emotional what else was wrong it? What about how the ways they wrapped up the characters?
best finale ever because it ended this show.
nah had to be when Jim bricks the trash can while saying "Kobe!"
I thought it was great. It wasn't the funniest episode by any means but it did an excellent job to wrap up the story for each character. While you could see the part where Michael showed up coming, it still gave me goose bumps.
Awesome show, great ending. The Office will go down as one of my top five favorite shows of all time and I thought they did it justice. Plus, it got my wife all emotional and I was able to procure some ass out of the deal.
The last 2 seasons have been complete but I'm still pretty bummed out the show is done now. I always thought it should've ended soon after Michael proposed to Holly. Maybe a mini season after that to explain where everyone went in their lives.
When Jim started talking about not being able to be best man I gave my wife a head nod b/c I knew Michael was going to make an appearance. I thought it was awesome.
The whole Jim and Pam potential split storyline was unforgivable especially when Brian the camera guy suddenly becomes part of the show. Bygones are bygones though and I will miss watching the show I've seen every Thursday for 9 years.
The way they wrapped up Erin, Nellie, and Creed.
Those were all lame. Erin's parents showing up and her accepting them on the go was really far fetch. Even if they were, the fatc they showed up after giving her up and showing up because her daughter got some tv exposure makes them ing shallow as . I would have told them to suck a black .
I feel the only reason Ryan was brought in was so he can come in with a random baby to give to the longing Nellie.
Creed got the Seinfeld treatment. lol
Did the guys called the cops on him? They just showed up and took him away. You would think he would get out of dodge.
The way they wrapped those characters up was too convinient and not belieable in the least.
I'm alright how they managed everyone else though. Even though I dont know what the writers were thinking making Pam and Jim fight and almost break up with a handfull of episodes left.
Goodbye Michael was the true ending for me. That had me in tears by the end. Legit.
Compared to that episode this finale doesn't even chart.
Of course, Goodbye Michael was better than this episode but the series finale wasn't terrible. It was one of the best episodes of the last 2 seasons. Yes, the last 2 seasons were mostly pieces of but that doesn't erase the great seasons and episodes that this show had. I can't believe it's over. Thursday nights will be weird without The Office. Parks and Recreation is hilarious but it's not The Office. I think the way the show handled the Michael appearance was how they wanted it to be. They wanted him there for Dwight because Dwight was one of his kids and he was getting married. The writers and producers probably didn't want Michael's quiet return to be the spotlight of the finale. He barely had any lines and was mainly just there to support Dwight.
agree with everything except Creed. He had it coming. He's been a criminal since the beginning and we don't even know what all he's done off camera. I think convenience would've been having him pull a Hannibal Lecter from the end of Silence of the Lambs type of deal.
another minor complaint was the last line. I really didn't think Pam should've been the last person we hear. I was really hoping for Michael or Dwight, it didn't have to be funny just something simple and natural. Or even Creed giving a funny line, just because he's a fan favorite and it would've been whimsical
