i go in for the upgrade first thing this morning, and the stupid ing heads make an announcement after 30 minutes of waiting wondering what the is going on, saying there are technicial difficulties with the phone, and will take our names/numbers and call us when its fixed in a couple hours so we can get our phones
the entire day passes, i call them wondering what the is going on, and find out that they forgot to order some ing 4G sim cards, and no stores in the entire city (Oklahoma, i was visiting for the weekend) had any. add to it, they were doing a special specifically in OKC selling it for only $150, and now that im back in Dallas, i cant get that deal. WHAT THE ING

I read the skyrocket is,with the exception of LTE, a bit inferior to the S2. Bigger screen with the same resolution and a different, less talked about CPU. Take that how you want to....

I've had my S2 for a little over a couple of weeks. This is after me having a 3GS for little over 2 years. The S2 is a beautiful phone. The guts are far superior over the 3GS but I'm not completely wowed by it yet. As I was typing this, the simple task of typing it on my phone was frustrating so now I'm typing it in the Memo app. The cursor pops up a few characters behind the blinking/flashing line and its hard to determine were the letters will pop up. I've been dealing with that all the sudden starting about a week ago. A little frustrating. The spacebar isn't long enough in landscape mode. I'm using the android keyboard. Anyway to get rid of the "," and "." key?
This problem just started a couple of days ago: I have the pattern lock screen activated. Sometimes when I hit the power button to activate the screen to input the pattern, the pattern isn't there. I just swipe it and I get access to my phone. No protection. Doesn't happen all the time but it shouldn't.
When I scroll with the provided Web browser-- which not being called Chrome or not having the App available still doesn't make sense to me-- a lot of times the page doesn't stay where I leave it. It scrolls back to some other point in the page like there's a page break somewhere. I have to double tap it. Sometimes that works.
Then there's the battery issue. I dont unserstand how when i have my phone connected to the charger the phone still manages to die. Never had this problem with my 3GS and I'd be doing the same things on my phone while charging it.
I'll just leave it there

Edit: from the time I was going to edit this post originally my phone died on me again. as of right now 5:52, the battery is at 14%. It was off the charger a total of about 20 minutes and I wasn't streaming audio like I was this morning......

I have the sprint galaxy 2 and I love the battery and I used the out of my phone. My brother in law has the att one and he does not used it very much threw out the day but he says his battery dies on him. I thought it was odd, is the att phone on a different firmware? I notice our camera apps are not the same. His is like my old slide out keyboard epic camera app and not like the new epic touch one.

Viva, download swiftkey. Never worry about the keyboard again.
Agreed, Swiftkey is amazing, I use that along with Swype. It took me a week to get used to the spacebar so it isn't really an issue now.
I believe Smart keyboard Pro has a longer spacebar if you desire. Good thing is that there's so many options with keyboards with 'droid.
I've used the pattern lockscreen before, never had such a problem.
Not sure what's up with the battery, it really shouldn't be dying like that, especially if it's charging.

yeah i have the unlimited data. would i get my ass busted if i used it to tether?
