When talking about the last TO by Parker, you're missing a very important aspect to the game. Jennings fouls him and gets the no call, fine. But he gambled and got lucky. If Jennings misses, there is NOBODY in the lane to keep Parker from a layup. It was actually a good decision. Jennings made a good play.
For the Parker haters, ask yourselves this: If the Spits trade Parker, who plays the point and/or who do you realistically get in return?
Neal is not the answer ( look at the game again ) and Ford is not the answer and injured. So who replaces Parker? The only even remotely possible player is Nash that would acceptable. Except the Suns aren't trading Nash, and if by some miracle they do, you just created a long term problem by getting another older player who will retire very soon.
Yeah, no player should be above criticism. Yet, it should be within reason and made with a understanding of the current team and personnal.
Its sad when people with obvious agendas are the first to complain and harp on Parker. Duncan and Ginobili don't catch nearly as much heat and hatred from the fanbase here. None of them are perfect, yet not one person has complained about Timmy picking up that late charge call.
The CoM is happiest when the Spurs win and Manu plays great. But close second in the CoM happiness scale is when the Spurs lose without Manu and Parker plays poorly in the clutch. That is pure gold for CoM.
The joy is literally palpable.
I actually mentioned this a few pages back. Might have been hard to pick up on during the ranting and raving.

CoP people calling out CoM people is pretty rich tbh.
I dont think anyone denied the fact that Parker had a solid overall game. Most peoples problem is with the fact that he managed the final minutes of tonights game horribly, on par with what hes done often in his career as hes one of the worst game managing PGs in the NBA. His mentality is almost always set on scoring rather than finding the easiest shot for the team. Combine that with his lack of a solid jumpshot and it makes him a below average closer.
